RECRUITMENT NOTICE FOR THE POSITION OF RESEARCH ASSOCIATE (RA-I)

Applications are invited for one position of Research Associate (RA-I) in the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) sponsored research project entitled “Biochemical and molecular analysis on the role of nutrient management for arsenic (As) stress mitigation and tolerance in North East Indian rice (Oryza sativa L.) cultivars” for a period of three (03) years. The said position is purely on temporary basis and coterminous with the project. The eligibility criteria and other relevant details are given below:
Eligibility Criteria: Candidates should hold a Ph.D. degree in Life Science / Botany /Biochemistry / Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology / Biophysics / Agriculture /Environmental Sciences / Bioscience & Bioengineering/ Chemistry. Candidates having sound knowledge and experience in the thrust area of the project is highly desirable.
Emoluments: Stipend @ Rs. 36,000/- p.m. + 10% HRA

Please note that no TA / DA will be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.
Candidates must submit one self attested copy of the testimonials, first page of the published paper, book chapters, etc at the time of interview. Original certificates, documents and other relevant papers should be brought at the time of interview for verification. The appointment of RA for the said project and terms &
conditions will be guided as per Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), New Delhi, India.
