The shortage of ready stock and demand for mills continued to support cash market. Prices may slip by Rs. 150 to 200 as the quotes in Myanmar decreased by $20 to $ 800. Availability is good in Myanmar and African countries. The crop of Tanzania, Malawi and Mozambique is available in the range of Rs. 5400-5500 in Mumbai. Supply side seems at comfortable level in the coming weeks. So, any spike is unlikely. Normal trade is expected.
Under these circumstances, Agricultural Market Intelligence Centre, PJTSAU expects that redgram may trade in price range between Rs. 6400 - 6600 per quintal in the month of April 2022.
