IBEF Website – Sector and State Overviews IBEF

India Brand Equity Foundation is a Trust established by the Ministry of Commerce with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) as its associate. IBEF’s primary objective is to promote and create international awareness of the Made in India label in markets overseas and to facilitate the dissemination of knowledge of Indian products and services. Towards this objective IBEF works closely with stakeholders across government and industry.

IBEF’s website, www.ibef.org is a regular source of reference for global investors, international policy makers and global media seeking updated, accurate and comprehensive information on the Indian economy, states and sectors. IBEF regularly tracks government announcements in policy, foreign investment, macroeconomic indicators and business trends to compile quarterly updates on leading industry sectors and states of India.

Objective

The Indian industry has been expanding with a growing international market share and reach, which necessitates a single credible source to consolidate all current information and project future trends of leading industry sectors of India.

Likewise each state of India is a growing business entity in itself. An overview of each state becomes imperative to give a comprehensive understanding of the overall economic growth of nation.

Scope of Assignment

India Brand Equity Foundation invites proposals from agencies to take lead on writing overviews for IBEF website related to leading Indian industry sectors and all states. The frequency of updating these would be on a quarterly basis. The overall objective of these overviews is to reflect a complete picture of each industry sector and state of India from an investment perspective.

• M&A in the sector

• Sector positioning in the international context (reference may be drawn from international reports)

• Future trends/forecasts

Both overviews have to be research based. All the data and information needs to be collated by the participating agency themselves. Additionally, following information needs to be provided for both overviews:

• Related News

Since the objective is to project the India growth story and promote Brand India in a positive light, we are not just focussed on engaging Indians but our special emphasis is to have more visits coming from our target countries abroad to the website. So keywords placement can be undertaken accordingly within the article.

Style of writing: These have to be written in a very compact/tight manner and all the information has to be fact oriented. We do not work on assumptions. Source of each fact used in the write up has to be clearly listed down. One can refer to existing overviews on IBEF website to gather an understanding of IBEF style of writing and the main headings followed in these ‘Overviews’.
