Description of the event
Magnovite 2022 is a virtual international inter-collegiate multidisciplinary fest organized by CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Kengeri campus for students from colleges in Indiaand abroad. Even though the Covid -19 pandemic is not as severe as it was, as a precautionary measure and as per the convenience to participants around the world, this fest was conducted both online & offline. The two-day competition hosted 10 management events namely Finance, Marketing, Operations, Business Analytics, Human-Resources, CSR, B-Plan, Best Manager, Public Relations and Best Management Team, providing students withthe competitive experience of a management fest and an opportunity to learn.
Magnovite 2022 received registrations from across the globe covering 56 Universities from 21 Countries and 127 Indian colleges from 22 states. Magnovite, as a whole, had 411 registrations, out of which 95 registrations are international and 316 national registrations. From the total registrations received, School of Business and Management had 170 registrations (with 257 participants) - International: 12 & National: 152.
The event was inaugurated on campus on April 22nd 2022 at 9:30 am, and was streamed virtually for all the participants to view online, and hosted Ms. Bineesha Payatatti, is the Executive Director of the International Institute of Waste Management and Executive Member of the Technology Development Board, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India, as the Chief Guest for the ceremony.
Note: Magnovite is a multi-disciplinary event organized by various Schools of the Bangalore Kengeri Campus. This report is solely about the events organized by the School of Business and Management.
