SECOND PHASE Counselling Schedule for admission into Various Diploma Courses for the Academic Year 2023-24

PJTSAU offers THREE Diploma Courses viz., Diploma in Agriculture (2 Years), Diploma in Organic Agriculture (2 Years) and Diploma in Agricultural Engineering (3 Years) for the Academic Year 2023-24 in English Medium.
The candidates who have submitted their Online Application for admission into various Diploma Courses of PJTSAU are only eligible to appear for the counselling as per the schedule given below.

Verification of Certificates:
The candidates are required to bring two sets of the Xerox copies of the following original documents.
a. Downloaded Online Application Form.
b. SSC Memorandum of Marks or Equivalent Examination Certificate.
c. Telangana State POLYCET-2023 Rank Card & Hall Ticket.
d. Bonafide / Study Certificate from 4th to 10th Class.
e. Non-Municipal Area Study Certificate (ANNEXURE-I).
f. Transfer Certificate of the institute last studied.
g. Residential Certificate (in respect of the Non-Local candidates residing in other states other than Telangana & Andhra Pradesh).
h. The certified copy of the Social Status (Caste) Certificate issued by the competent authority in case of applicants belonging to Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.
i. The certified copy of the EWS Certificate valid for the year 2023-24 issued by the competent authority in case of applicants belonging to EWS category. (The EWS certificate taken in the previous year shall not be considered. Hence, candidates are directed to take latest EWS certificate).
Criteria for selection:
1. The selection of candidates for all the seats shall be made on the basis of ranks obtained by the candidates under Agriculture Stream in the Telangana State TS POLYCET-2023 conducted by SBTET.
2. If further tie, order of marks secured in Biology, Physics, Chemistry will be considered.
3. If still tie persists, it may be resolved by seniority basing on the Date of Birth of the
candidates. While resolving the tie basing on the Date of birth as entered in the S.S.C.
Certificate of the Candidate, candidate born earlier will be deemed to have obtained better rank.
4. In case the tie is still not resolved, the candidate who has secured higher percentage of marks in the qualifying Examination will be considered.
Fees:
1. Selected candidate for admission into University polytechnics shall pay an amount of Rs. 19,945/- in cash immediately during admission for First Semester (Hostel and Mess charges are additional).
2. Selected candidate for admission into Affiliated polytechnics shall pay an amount of Rs. 22,210/- in cash immediately during admission for First Semester (Hostel and Mess charges are additional).
3. If the admitted candidate cancels his/her seat before the closure of admissions for the AY 2023-24 an amount of Rs. 1,000/- shall be collected as processing fee. The remaining fees already paid during admission shall be refunded.
4. If the admitted candidate cancels his/her seat after the closure of admissions process for the AY 2023-24 the candidate forfeits the fees already paid and in addition, he/she has to pay processing of Rs. 1,000/-.
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS:
➢ All the candidates are informed to visit the website(www.pjtsau.edu.in) for seat availability position before attending the counselling, which will be updated regularly during the counselling days.
➢ Vacancies if any arise, even on the date of the counselling also will be considered for admission process. Candidates are required to read the prospectus thoroughly before attending the counselling.
➢ During the sliding process opted by the candidates from one college to another college or one course and another course a few seats may arise in the categories which are not mentioned in the seat availability position.
➢ The candidates who secured admission in the previous phase are also eligible for subsequent phases of counselling for better course or better college preferred by him/her.
For each phase of counselling separate notification will be given for which candidates need not apply again.
➢ The following candidates are eligible for the counselling:
• Who secured a seat in earlier phase of counseling and wish to move to some other colleges as per their merit and rule of reservation
• Candidates who participated in earlier phase of online counseling and could not secure a seat.
• Candidates who did not participate in the earlier phase.
• Candidates who were allotted a seat but didn’t report/pay the fee at the college.
• A candidate allotted a seat in earlier phase but cancelled his/her admission.
➢ The parents and candidates should visit the University website www.pjtsau.edu.in regularly during the counselling dates for updates and the availability of seats under various categories.
➢ This notification shall be treated as an individual intimation and no separate intimation will be issued
➢ All Categories means the candidate belonging to OC, EWS, BC, SC and ST including Non- Rural, Rural, Non-Farmer and Farmer.
➢ The candidates need to attend the counselling on the scheduled day as per the ranks indicated above.
➢ The candidates are required to produce all the relevant original certificates at the time of counselling failing which the candidature for admission will be rejected. If the candidate have already secured admission elsewhere, he/she should produce custodian certificate.
➢ The selected candidates will have to pay the requisite fees inclusive of deposits immediately failing which the seat will stand cancelled.
➢ Candidates are required to read the prospectus thoroughly before attending the counselling.
➢ The counseling will be conducted on all the days as notified in the schedule.
➢ This notification shall be treated as an individual intimation and no separate intimation will be issued.
➢ The candidates are required to produce all the relevant original certificates at the time of counselling failing which the candidature for admission will be rejected.
➢ Hostel accommodation will be provided subject to availability.
➢ Candidates called for counselling will have to attend at their own cost and only one parent /guardian of the candidate will be allowed to accompany the candidate during the counselling process.
➢ Selection of candidates under EWS, BC, SC & ST quota is subject to clearance of the respective social status by the respective Directorates of Government of Telangana.
➢ The University do not guarantee any employment to the candidates joining the courses.
➢ The counseling process is likely to extend late into the evening, hence the candidates and parents/ guardians are requested to come well prepared for the same.
➢ Counseling for admission under NCC, CAP (Defence), SPORTS and PHC quota will be held separately in presence of the concerned authorities for which separate notification will be issued.
➢ More number of candidates than the availability of seats are called for counseling and hence, mere attendance / participation during counselling does not guarantee admission.
➢ Candidates should report at the counseling center an hour before the scheduled time.
➢ Certificates / documents other than those uploaded will not be entertained or considered for the allotment of seats.
➢ The seats reserved under EWS/BC/SC/ST categories shall also be filled up simultaneously during the counseling process on the scheduled days.
➢ In case the information furnished or the certificates uploaded by the candidates are found to be false, the University will take appropriate action against the individuals concerned.
➢ The guidelines issued by Government of Telangana from time to time shall be followed scrupulously.
➢ The parents and candidates should visit the University website www.pjtsau.edu.in regularly during the counselling dates for updates and the availability of seats under various categories.
➢ After the completion of counselling on the scheduled days, the category wise availability of seat position will be displayed on the University website i.e., www.pjtsau.edu.in.
➢ The University is not responsible for any information provided in websites other than at www.pjtsau.edu.in.
➢ Parents and Candidates are informed that the admissions are purely based on merit and rule of reservation and as such they are requested not to rely on any middlemen/persons/consultants who try to mislead the students in securing admission into PJTSAU under any quota. All the seats will be filled by the University only.
