3 Seed Cleaner for Cotton seed:
The Seed Cleaner/ Grader should be suitable for cleaning and grading of Ginned / Delinted Cotton seed. Suitability for processing of other cereals, pulses, oilseeds, spices, vegetable crops & forage crops would be an additional advantage. It should consist of air screen mechanism with suitable screen changing facilities and air flow adjustments. The noise level should be within standard recommended acceptable limit. If the cleaner/ grader is fulfilling BIS standards, a copy of the testing report, from any of the Government Testing Centre should also be included.
The maximum level of allowable impurities for designated capacity should be clearly mentioned. The unit needs to be mounted on strong and sturdy framework of high quality structural frame. The electrical requirements of horse power should be mentioned.
The party must provide ‘3’ years on-site free repairing/ servicing facilities. After the purchase, the Seed Cleaner/ Grader has to be first demonstrated at our Viramgam station.
The rates of additional screens/ sieves and other required accessories should be quoted separately. The rates should be for F.O.R. university station located at Viramgam and should include all applicable taxes, duties, transportation, transit insurance and other charges. List of clients using this Cleaner/ Grader for Delinted Cotton at present should also be included.

6 4 Non-Woven fabrics bags for seed packing (120 GSM Non- woven fabric with 30 GSM
lamination):

Net dimension 100X60 cm., 80X 60 cm., 75X50 cm., 60X45 cm. excluding top-bottom 3-3 cm & left right 2-2 cm. border to be stitched, Three side double stitching from inner side as per certified seed packing norms.

Terms and Conditions for supply of Cotton Seed Processing Machinery and Non-woven fabrics bags for seed packing :
1. Rates quoted should be inclusive of all applicable Taxes and F.O.R. our office at Viramgam inclusive of packing, forwarding, insurance, installation, commissioning and demonstration.
2. Validity of the quotation should be up to 31st March 2016.
3. Required quantity of the above goods/ machinery may vary in numbers as per budgetary provisions.
4. Goods/machinery should be supplied along with credit bill in duplicate. Payment towards credit bill through Cheque will be paid only after accounting procedure.
7 5. Payment shall be made only after satisfactory installation and demonstration. No advance or
part payment or payment through bank can be entertained.
6. Tender forms only from original manufacturers and/or their authorized dealers/ stockiest who are in the concerned field will be considered. Certificates in respect of authorized dealership to the dealer by their Principals should invariably be attached along with tender. The manufacturers should submit undertaking/ certificate of manufacturing for the items specified by them.
7. The credentials of the party, list of customers and complete illustrated literature should be enclosed with the tender form. The firm should be ready for pre-inspection of the item and its performance, if necessary.
8. Catalogue of each quoted product with exact specifications must be attached with the quotation.
9. In case of defective items, the same shall have to be replaced by the party concerned at its own cost, and risk, and within stipulated time.
10. Being an educational institution we are eligible for exemption of excise duty/ custom duty.
11. Duly filled tender forms in sealed envelopes through Speed post / RPAD post should reach the office of the Nodal Officer (Seed) &Research Scientist, Regional Research Station, Anand Agricultural University, Anand – 388110 before17.00 hrs. on 27/07/2015.
12. Please superscribe the envelope, “Rates for Cotton Seed Processing Machinery and Non- woven fabrics bags for seed packing” and clearly mention senders’ name and address.
13. The University shall be empowered to reject any one or all the tenders without giving any reason for doing the same. This shall not be challengeable in the Court. In case of disputes, decision of Vice Chancellor, Anand Agricultural University, Anand will be final and acceptable to all the parties.
14. While submitting your tender please write your Central Sales Tax, Sales Tax, TIN No. and PAN No. etc. and complete address of your firm, failing which the tender will be rejected.
15. Tender form fee is Rs. 500/-. Those downloading the tender form from our website, must submit Tender Form Fee by DD in favour of “Anand Agricultural University fund account” along with the tender form. Earnest money deposit for tender is approximately 3% of the quoted
8 price and if, order is placed, you have to pay security deposit of 5% after receiving the order, which will be refunded after installation and testing of equipment.
16. Earnest money should be paid in form of bank DD only in favour of “Anand Agricultural University fund account” and DD should be enclosed with tender form.
17. In event of dispute regarding any matter related to acceptance or rejection of tender or consideration of tender for purchase order, decision of University Authority shall remain final.
