A non-refundable Tender fee Rs. 1500/- in the form of Demand Draft favoring “AAU Fund Account” should accompany with filled tender. Terms and conditions for submitting quotations for supply of items covered under our Short Term Tender Notice dated 20-02-2018 that appeared in Divya Bhaskar, Ahmedabad/Vadodara/Surat/Rajkot edition.

1. Tender is to be submitted only by manufacturers, authorized dealers, registered and reputed firms and recognized contractors on their letterheads in the super scribed sealed envelopes.

2. The tender along with Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) @ 3% of quoted price in the form of account payee Demand Draft in favour of “AAU Fund Account” payable at Anand, shall have to be accompanied with the filled Tender Form. Tender submitted without EMD shall not be considered. The deposit shall be forfeited if the party in any case is not able to supply the ordered goods in stipulated period and at the rates approved.

3. As per advertisement should invariably reach this office on or before 17.00 h, 08- 03-2018. Tenders received thereafter are liable to be rejected.

4. While submitting your tender please write your GSTIN/GST No. and PAN No. and complete address of your firm, failing which the tender will be rejected.

5. The prices quoted must be F.O.R. our site and should be inclusive of all taxes, packaging, forwarding, insurance, commissioning, installation charges, etc.

6. As an educational institute, we are eligible for the benefit of Central Excise / Custom duty.

7. The rates should be valid for up to 31-03-2018 from last date of receipt of tender.

8. The goods will have to be supplied as per the specifications within the prescribed time limit or purchase order, if given.

9. No advance either in part or full will be paid and the delivery of equipment /machinery etc. will be accepted on open delivery basis only. However, the bill will be paid at the earliest after the receipt of materials in satisfactory condition.

10.Certificates in respect of authorized dealership to the dealer by their firm should invariably be attached along with tender. The manufacturers should submit undertaking / certificate of manufacturing for the items specified by them.

11.Losses in transit or breakage, if any, shall be at the risk of concerned party.

12.If the demurrage charge is due to delay in sending the transport / railway receipt, the amount of the demurrage will be recovered from the concerned party.

13. Tender should contain full specifications, supported by description and literature, wherever required. Tender should be dispatched by Registered post / Speed Post only.

14.The dairy/food equipment / machinery should be as per the specified requirement by department and should be as per manufacturer’s standards. Substandard equipment / machinery shall be rejected.

15.The word “TENDER DOCUMENT FOR EQUIPMENT: DAIRY TECHNOLOGY, SMC COLLEGE OF DAIRY SCIENCE, A.A.U., ANAND – 388 110” must be super scribed on the envelope.

16.The Vice Chancellor of the University (AAU) reserves the right to alter or modify any of the above mentioned terms and conditions, to accept or reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason thereof. In case of any dispute(s), the decision of the Vice Chancellor of the University (AAU) shall be final and binding to both the parties.
