The interested candidates who have qualified in TS-EAMCET 2023 under MPC stream (OR) who have passed out intermediate (10+2 or equivalent course) and wish to seek admission into B.Tech.
(Agricultural Engineering), B.Tech. (Food Technology) or B.Sc. (Hons.) Community Science courses under MPC Stream may attend walk in counselling directly with original certificates and prescribed fee.

Note: The seats if any arise even on the day of the counselling will also be considered and filled up along with the seats as notified above.
Eligibility:
1. A pass in two year Intermediate Examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the University or Intermediate Board with the following subjects namely:
i. Physical Sciences ii. Mathematics
2. The candidates for admission to these courses shall be required to have completed 17 years of age with an upper age limit of 22 years for all the candidates, 25 years in respect of SC
2 and ST candidates and 27 years for Physically Handicapped candidates as on 31st December of the year of admission.
Criteria for selection (Priority):
Priority 1: The seats shall be filled-up based on the ranks obtained by the candidates under Engineering Stream in the TS-EAMCET-2023.
Priority 2: The vacant unfilled seats if any, shall be filled-up based on the marks obtained in Intermediate/Class 10+2 or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in the prescribed group subjects by the candidates without TS-EAMCET-2023 ranks.
➢ In case of tie, the age of the candidates shall be taken into consideration and the older candidates shall be given preference for the seat.
Reservation of Seats:
● The rule of reservation (OC:46%, EWS;10%, BC-A:7%, BC-B;10%, BC-C:1%, BC- D:7%, BC-E:4%, SC:15%, ST:10%) will be followed as per the rules.
● The rule of reservation in respect of EWS will be followed as per the guidelines issued by the Government of Telangana from time to time.
Reservation of seats for the candidates coming from families of Agriculturist cum Rural Area (Farmers’ Quota) in B.Tech. (Agricultural Engineering) (Regular & Self-financing)
& B.Tech. (Food Technology) (Regular & Self-financing) courses:
➢ Forty per cent (40%) of the seats in the PJTSAU are reserved for candidates coming from families of Agriculturists (Farmers) owning not less than ONE acre of land either in the name of the parents or in the name of the candidates and who have studied for a minimum of 4 years in schools located in Non-Municipal areas.
Reservation of seats for the candidates coming from Rural Area (Rural Quota) in B.Sc.
(Hons.) Community Science (Regular & Self-financing) course:
● Forty per cent (40%) of the seats are reserved for candidates who have studied for a minimum of 4 years in schools located in Non-Municipal areas.
Reservation of Special category seats:
● The counselling for the Physically Challenged (PH@3%), Children of Armed Personnel (CAP@2%), National Cadet Corps (NCC@1%) & SPORTS (@0.5%) quota seats shall be conducted in presence of the Officers of the departments concerned. The certificates of the candidates of above special categories shall be verified by the officers and the seats will be allotted as per the priorities indicated by them. The University has no interference in indicating priorities.
Original certificates to be produced at the time of admission:
• SSC Memorandum of Marks or Equivalent Examination Certificate, showing the evidence of the Date of Birth.
• Pass Certificate cum Memorandum of Marks obtained by the applicant in the qualifying examination (Intermediate (10+2) or its Equivalent Examination).
• Telangana State EAMCET-2023 Hall Ticket and Rank Card.
• Bonafide / Study Certificate from 6th to 12th Class.
• Transfer Certificate.
• Residential Certificate.

• The latest certified copy of the Social Status Certificate issued by the competent authority of Telangana State in case of applicants belonging to Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.
• The latest certified copy of the EWS Certificate issued by the competent authority of Telangana State in case of applicants belonging to EWS.
• Non-Municipal Area Study Certificate (ANNEXURE-I), if applicable.
• Agricultural Land Holding Certificate (ANNEXURE-II), if applicable.

The Self-Financing seats will be filled up through a separate counselling.
The candidates seeking admission under self-financing quota seats for B.Tech.
(Agricultural Engineering), B.Tech. (Food Technology) & B. Sc. (Hons.) Community Science courses may note the following:
• The candidates attending the counselling under Self Financing quota should bring a demand draft of Rs. 2,54,450/- (Rupees Ten Lakhs Eleven Thousand only) in favour of “THE COMPTROLLER, PJTSAU” payable at Hyderabad and Rs. 45,550/- (Rupees Thirty-Nine Thousand only) in cash for the immediate payment at the respective allotted college counter.
• The rules and regulations with regard to eligibility, age, reservations etc., are the same that are applicable to the candidates admitted under general quota.
• The candidates selected under self-financing quota will be treated on par with regular students. No special amenities or facilities will be provided.
• The unfilled seats under self-financing quota will not be filled up from any other stream and will be kept vacant.
• The candidates admitted under this quota are not eligible for any reimbursement of fee or educational concessions offered by the Government.
4 Important Instructions:
• This notification shall be treated as individual intimation. No separate intimation will be sent.
• Open Competition includes all categories viz., OC, BC, SC & ST (by merit only).
• The candidates are required to produce all the relevant original certificates at the time of counselling failing which the candidature for admission will be disqualified.
• If the admitted candidate cancels his/her seat before closure of admission process, the entire fee collected from the student shall be refunded in full after deducting Rs 1000/- (@ Rs.
5000/-for self-financing quota) as processing fee.
• Any cancellation/withdrawal of admissions after the closure of admission process, the candidate shall forfeit the entire fees (Except the caution deposits) in addition, the candidate has to pay the Rs 1000/- (@ Rs. 5000/-for self-financing quota) as processing fee.
• Selection of candidates under BC, SC & ST quota is subject to clearance by the respective social status by the respective Directorates of Government of Telangana.
• The guidelines issued by Government of Telangana from time to time shall be followed scrupulously.
• Candidates called for counselling shall have to attend at their own cost and only one parent / guardian of the candidate will be allowed to accompany the candidate during counselling.
• The University doesn’t guarantee any employment to the candidates joining the course.
• Candidates are required to read the prospectus thoroughly before attending the counselling.
• It is likely that counselling process may extend late into the evening, hence the candidates and parents/ guardians are requested to come well prepared.
• More number of candidates than availability of seats are called for Counselling and hence mere attendance / participation during counselling does not guarantee admission.
• Candidates should report at the Counselling center one hour before the scheduled time.
• Certificates / documents other than those uploaded will not be entertained or considered for the allotment of seats.
• Candidates belonging to BC, SC & ST Categories should bring two sets of Xerox copies of their caste certificate to be submitted at the counselling center.
• The selection of the candidates under Self-financing quota shall be based on the ranks obtained in TS EAMCET-2023 duly following the rule of reservation with fee structure as indicated in the prospectus. The rule of reservation under farmers quota (@40%) will also apply for Self-financing quota seats. The notification for these seats will be issued separately.
• The Counselling under special categories (PH, CAP, NCC & Sports) will be held in the presence of authorities concerned.
• Counselling for admission under PH, CAP, NCC & Sports quota will be held separately and accordingly notification will be placed on the University website (www.pjtsau.edu.in) at a later date.
• The candidates selected for admission should submit Medical fitness certificate at the time of reporting in the college.
