VSP EMBARKED ON AN AMBITIOUS GROWTH PLAN:BISHNOI
• Sri P K Bishnoi, CMD,RINL/Visakhapatnam Steel Plant said that “having etched a place of eminence in the steel industry today, we have embarked on an ambitious growth plan to retain our competitive edge and ensure sustainable development.
• While addressing the employees at the RINL Formation Day celebrations at Ukkunagaram today, Sri Bishnoi said that the current expansion will see our capacity double and drawn a road map to expand the capacity of the Company to 16 MT by 2019, which will further strengthen our brand leadership in the country.
Sri Bishnoi said that it is time now that we have carved out pro-active actions and evolve aggressive strategies to ensure sustainable growth.
• Sri Bishnoi said that with the unprecedented increase in raw material prices, further enhancements in production from the existing capacities has become the need of the hour to improve our net margins. He called upon the employees to adhere to the responsibility to the duty, devotion and discipline to enhance the image of the Company.
• AWARDS DISTRIBUTED: Sri Bishnoi distributed Jawahar Awards to 72 employees for the outstanding performance in their work on this occasion.
He also gave away a Gold Medal and a Silver Medal to Sri B Venkateswarlu, Chargeman, Blast Furnace and Sri SKVN Acharyulu, DCM(M),SMS respectively under Srujan Vikas awards. Sri Bishnoi also distributed trophies, Eco awards to Little Angels and Delhi Public School and other awards in poster and slogan competitions.
• EXHIBITION INAUGURATED: Sri Bishnoi later inaugurated an exhibition of VSP at T&D Center lawns for expanding vendor-partner base. Several entrepreneurs and senior officials attended.
• TRI-CYCLERS DISTRIBUTED: As part of Corporate Social responsibility (CSR) programme, Sri Bishnoi distributed tri-cycles, artificial limbs etc to the physically challenged persons at Ukkunagaram to mark the occasion.
• S/Sri PK Misra, Director (Operations), Sri Y Manohar, Director (Personnel), Sri CG Patil, Director (Commercial), Sri KS Shankar, Director (Finance), SEA representatives, Union leaders Mantri rajsekhar, Sri D Adinarayana, Sri N Rama Rao, senior officers and large number of employees and their family members participated.
