traffic volume, whereas low PM2.5 concentrations at 4-5pm were affected by the diffusion due to the maximum mixing height

For spatial distribution of PM10 concentrations, HS station, located in the industrial area, had the highest concentrations due to primary emission sources, followed by YE, NS, SN, DS, and SAM stations.

Besides, the highest concentrations of PM2.5 were observed at SN station because of high secondary aerosol generation by the high traffic volume, followed by HS, DS, NS, SAM, and YE stations.

In order to identify the potential sources of PM at six air monitoring stations, the emissions provided by CAPSS and the pollution roses of PM at six monitoring stations were used. The main source related to NS station was not confirmed in emission data by CAPSS. However, NS station was affected by general industry which is located at its northern side and long-range transport from other cities. DS, YE and HS stations were influenced by area emissions. DS station was affected by ship-building and heavy industry, YE station was affected by petrochemical industry, and HS station was affected by non-ferrous industry. Furthermore, SAM and SN stations were impacted by the mobile sources due to highway and large commercial area with high traffic loads, respectively.
