Poster Presentations
It has been observed that students of Kazakh Linguistics, to whom I taught Turkish classes at the N.A Gumilyev University Faculty of Linguistics for twelve days in November and December 2016, produced structures that differed from standard Turkish structures in their formulation of Turkish sentences that they created using specified mode/time/person formulas while practicing the lessons. In a study mainly adopting the usage and semantic features of verbal adverbs, sentences were formed by the style confirmation function of the suffixes of the verbal adverbs, namely “ –p”, “-ArAk” and “-A” in Turkish ( meaning “by” / “as” / “because of” in Turkish language) have been explained and students whose native language is Kazakh-Turkish have been asked to make similar sentences in Standard Turkish. The topic of this dissertation is “receptive multilingualism in intercultural communication between speakers of Turkish and Kazakh (in Germany, Turkey and Kazakhstan)”.
Their mutual understanding is created while both receivers use their 'passive' knowledge of the language and/or variety of their interlocutor(s). In view of the present study, receptive multilingualism should be specified as a way of communicating in effectively between members of different branches of the same language family, with the connection between the respective languages ​​helping to facilitate the process of understanding. Consequently, we have limited knowledge of the current stage of regional varieties and the changes they have undergone since then. All information and data used in the presentation were collected during my fieldwork expedition to the village in November 2014.

One of the decisive factors for the preservation of inter-ethnic relations based on mutual respect and maintaining the cultural values ​​of the ethnic groups is the state's language policy.
Much attention should be paid to creating an optimal language space for representatives of all ethnic groups of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The characteristics of colloquial Turkish spoken by the Ahishka Turks (as they recently defined themselves) are presented in more detail. Also, on the basis of the speech patterns of the Turks living in Kazakhstan, Kazakh linguistic loanwords denoting expressions of kinship were recorded and analyzed.

This study is an instrumental investigation of the vowel system of Teleu, a dying Turkic language in Southern Siberia with about 100 remaining speakers, mostly elderly.
