Journal "Bulletin of the science of S. Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical S.
research University: Veterinary sciences (hereinafter referred to as the Journal) is a new scientific publication (series) with a deep history, was created based on the
"Journal of S. Seifullin KATU", published since 1994.
The magazine is published quarterly, with a circulation of 300 copies. The editorial board of the journal includes foreign scientists from far and near abroad.
The publication has an international number assigned to it – ISSN 2958-5430, and eISSN 2958-5449. The publication has a certificate of registration with the Committee of Information of the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The thematic focus of publications
The materials of the journal highlight the intermediate or final results of scientific research in the field of topical problems of veterinary science, which have novelty and practical value, as well as previously not published in scientific journals.
Journal areas: anatomy, physiology, histology, embryology, biotechnology, molecular and cellular biology, pharmacology and toxicology, pathology, microbiology, virology, parasitology, immunology, infectious diseases, epizootiology, obstetrics and reproduction, and food safety.
The editorial policy of the journal
The purpose of the journal is regular and timely coverage of research results on the latest achievements and development prospects of domestic and foreign veterinary science to expand the possibilities for disseminating and indexing scientific papers in various domestic and foreign citation bases.
The journal is presented in Kazakhstani databases and serves as a platform for communication between domestic and foreign scientists on topical issues of veterinary medicine.
S. Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical research University, releasing the magazine, strives to:
- to ensure interaction and attract leading domestic and foreign scientists to publications, as well as to establish an exchange of views between researchers of international and domestic scientific schools;
- to accumulate knowledge and experience of the scientific community;
coverage of new theoretical and practical knowledge in priority areas of scientific research in the field of veterinary science;
- to conduct a policy of open access to peer-reviewed electronic scientific publications, contributing to the improvement of scientific information exchange, as well as increasing the citation of works and, accordingly, the effectiveness of the scientific activity of authors published in the journal.
The objectives:
- to highlight new scientific results of significant importance in the field of veterinary science, biology, and biotechnology;
- to create an environment of openness and accessibility of wide coverage of the results of scientific works of applicants for academic degrees and titles in scientific specialties of veterinary science;
- to attract well-known authors to the journal in the scientific areas of the journal;
- expand the range of editorial boards and reviewers with the involvement of domestic and foreign scientists with a high citation index;
- increase the citation index to include the journal in international databases;
to increase the accessibility and openness of the magazine in Kazakhstan and abroad.

Articles are accepted to the journal via the electronic system: Open Journal Systems, are checked by the anti-plagiarism license program, which allows checking articles for borrowing from publicly available sources.

Publication ethics and peer review
The materials of the Committee on Publication Ethics Committee of Publication Ethics (COPE), in particular the Guidelines on Good Publication Practice, are used as fundamental standards in the compilation of publication ethics. The Editorial Board of the journal does everything possible to comply with ethical standards adopted by the international scientific community and to prevent any violations of these norms; guarantees acceptance/rejection of the article based on its scientific significance, originality, relevance, and its proximity to the subject of the journal, regardless of gender, nationality, religion and other personal qualities of the author/author ensures a qualified and objective review of the manuscript and of the confidentiality of the review process.
All scientific articles submitted to the editorial board of the journal are subject to mandatory double-blind review. The editor of the journal determines the compliance of the article with the profile of the journal and the design requirements. After that, he sends it for review to reviewers (a specialist, doctor, or candidate of sciences who has the scientific specialization closest to the topic of
the article) who are not members of the editorial board of the journal. The terms of reviewing each case are determined by the editor, considering the creation of conditions for the most expeditious publication of the article. The author of the reviewed article is allowed to get acquainted with the text of the review. If the reviews contain recommendations for correcting and finalizing the article, the editor sends the text of the reviews to the author with a proposal to take them into account when preparing a new version of the article or to refute them (partially or completely). An article not recommended for publication by reviewers is not accepted for reconsideration. The text of the negative review is sent to the author via the Open Journal Systems electronic system. The presence of a positive review is not a sufficient reason for the publication of the article. After the decision of the editorial board of the journal to allow the article to be published, the author receives information through the electronic Platform open journal systems.
