«Research of possibility of using bag filters in aspiration titanium explosive dusts»

The work relevancy. A large number of modern technological processes associated with crushing, grinding and transportation of bulk materials, contributing to the process of dusting. Scientists estimate that the total value of the emitted aerosols of different dimensions in the Earth's atmosphere is about 150 mln. tons. In Ust-Kamenogorsk average daily content of dust particles in the air in some periods exceeds the established norms by 2-3 times. At the same time released into the atmosphere with technological and vent gases are lost significant amounts of non-ferrous and precious metals. All this makes it necessary to conduct an effective dust collection in the workplace.

The LLP "POSUK Titanium" hasn’t aspiration system and dedusting in the separation of charge preparation of the high explosive materials used. At high explosion and fire trapped materials made using different sets of wet cleaning.

However, these devices have several drawbacks - getting trapped product in the form of sludge requiring further processing, low efficiency of dust collection. The best dust collection devices in modern industry are bag filters, the use of which in the process stages with explosive materials hampered by a lack of knowledge of the issue.

The goal of the thesis is to study the possibility of using bag filters aspiration of explosive dust by the example of titanium LLP "POSUK Titanium".

Main objectives of the thesis:

- The study of literature on the explosion of various dusts;

- Analysis used in the industry of dry dust collectors;

- Identification of the main parameters that influence the degree of dust explosion;

- Development of recommendations on the selection of the filter bag for added value with increased risk of fire and explosion.

The objects of the research:

- Metallurgical dust;

- Bag filters.

The subject of the research:

The separation of charge preparation and pressing LLP "POSUK Titanium»

Methods of analysis. The chemical, spectral, dispersive methods of analysis using Excel spreadsheet processor for processing the results.

Scientific novelty:

- The first time the experimental data of physical and chemical properties of dust subjected to mathematical processing in order to determine the most important factors affecting the risk of explosion;

- Offered a bag filter design to trap dust explosion.

Practical significance:

- The method of calculation criteria explosive dusts allows you to define the lower explosive limit concentration of dust without instrumental measurements;

- The results of studies recommended by the bag filter design for redistribution explosive dust;

Approbation of the work results and publications

Instructs the source data for the design of the bag filter to clean the air in the suction burden preparation and pressing department LLP "POSUK Titanium".

Summary of the work were presented at the II International scientific-technical conference of students, graduate students and young scientists "Creativity young - the innovative development of Kazakhstan", 14-15.04.2016.
