WITH PARTICIPATION OF EMPLOYERS
ON THE DEPARTMENT «STANDARDIZATION AND CERTIFICATION»
Seminar on the topic "New requirements of the international standard ISO 9001" was held on the Department of Standardization and Certification of the Transport and Energy Department. Representatives of RSE "Kazakhstan Institute for Standardization and Certification" MID RK TRMC, as well as teachers of the
"Standardization and Certification" department, students and undergraduates took part in the seminar.

“Kazakhstan Institute for Standardization and Certification”, Karimova Gulmaida Konysbaevna made a report “ST RK ISO 9001-2016. Quality management
systems. Requirements”. In her report, she acquainted the audience with the new requirements of ST RK ISO 9001-2016, which entered into force on January 1, 2017. Changes and innovations in the structure of the standard, the main
differences between ST RK ISO 9001-2009 and ST RK ISO 9001-2016 were announced. It is expected that all organizations should fully switch to the new version of the standard by 2019. Also the standard includes such sections as
"Organization Environment", "Leadership", "Planning".
In addition, this standard discloses a risk-oriented approach, which guarantees an efficient system of operation of this standard. Risk-oriented thinking allows an organization to identify those factors that can provide processes with the necessary resources, carry out management, identify and implement opportunities for
improvement.
The main purpose of the seminar was to familiarize the audience with the risk management, which replaced the concept of "preventive actions". In addition, the new standards focus on leadership and clearly formulated management. Now each organization, taking into account the standards, will be able to assess its own risks.
Also during the seminar, ST RK ISO 14001-2016 "Environmental Management System. Requirements and guidance for use" was revised and updated. The organization can use it to improve environmental management, ensure environmental protection and balance with socio-economic needs.
Therefore, new draft standard "Standard on Combating Bribery" was presented during the seminar. The standard reveals the main features of the problem of fighting corruption.
Teaching staff of the department, guests, students shared their opinions, asked questions. In general, the seminar was held in a working and constructive manner.
