4S for Mutual Sustainable Development
Stop – Slow – Simplify – Share (4S)
The future we want starts with commitment. Stop whatever that are detrimental, slow down when we are uncertain, seek to simplify and share the knowledge and responsibilities.
So, when we do all the right things together, we will definitely shift towards a sustainable future, a future we want to leave behind.

[email protected] The idea presented here is 4S, an easy-to-understand
strategy that will help to achieve mutual sustainable development and a desirable future.
The 4S stands for Stop, Slow, Simplify and Share.
Stop is about discontinuing any detrimental activities or actions, either on a self-regulating basis or enforcement by another party. Slowing down does not inhibit development. It means we move towards a better quality of life, slowly and sustainably. It would mean slowing down on production and reducing consumption.
Simplify is about making things simpler, less complicated and less resources. Simple means ‘less is best’. Simple does not mean compromised quality, but rather sustained and enhanced quality in a simpler way. Share is about sharing information and responsibilities towards mutual sustainable development.
The idea of Mutual Sustainable Development is redefined as “development that meets the mutual needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own mutual needs” because
“the environment” and us share the same needs.
