1st ASEAN University Tennis Championship Participants, Members of the Media, Sponsors, Ladies and Gentlemen.
Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh and a very pleasant day to all of you.
Alhamdulillah, finally we did it and I am delighted to know that this 1st event has been fruitful and a success.
Over the past five days, it has been heartening to know that all participants including from the ASEAN country were actively together and compete healthily during the competition.
I also happy to know that the participants have enjoyed the dinner that has been organized last Friday Night.
I truly appreciate, all the hard works and progresses put in by the committee members and delegations and I trust the competition has been a success and satisfying to all parties.
Ladies and Gentleman,
Looking forward, I believed that the success of this Tennis Championship is the key to drive sports and positive well-being of people among the IPTA and IPTS in Malaysia and also from the
ASEAN countries and is significant in driving the region towards achieving ASEAN community.
I believe greater collective cooperation in this regard is what we actually need. Thank you and a big of applause to all of you for the success of this competition.
I hope this kind of competition will continuously reinforce our relationship and will bring more benefits to all of us. We all know, actions speak louder than words. So, as we walk away from this Arena with plans to meet again next year, we each have a responsibility in moving our agenda forward.
I really hope that all of you will enjoy every single activities, function and dinner hosted by us. Once again, all delegates and the committee members here wish to express deep and sincere appreciation to all the participants for attending this 1st ASEAN UNIVERSITY TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIP 2011 here in UniMAP Perlis, Malaysia.
