EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
“Happy for your tummy” is our trademark that focuses on giving the happinest to the customers' tummies. While our business is called “Aromatisse Desserts” which is selling Sarawak traditional food which is Kek Lapis. Our business also offers affordable range prices with different types of Kek Lapis.
Our target audience is a group of people who are looking for traditional pastry for Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Hari Raya Aidiladha and also for tea time. This portfolio we attached screenshots of our business Facebook page, including the cover page, page info, business account name, URL, and number of page likes.

2.0 INTRODUCTION OF BUSINESS

Our company’s name is Aromatisse Desserts. We chose this name because our aim for this business is to sell and share our homemade desserts so that everyone can try the taste of “kek lapis”. Based on the logo, it represents that our business sells a variety of “kek lapis”. Besides that, “Happiness for your tummy” is our motto. We chose this motto because our aim is to make sure the tummy of our customers will be happy after tasting our homemade kek lapis.
Aromatisse Desserts started to operate on 7 of April 2022 on social media, namely Facebook. The reason we chose this product as our business is because one of us is really good at baking kek lapis. And we would like to share the tasteness of kek lapis for all Facebook users.
Other than that, the real situation on how we agreed to open this business is because both of us like to eat kek lapis. With this reason, our decision to open this business became faster than we expected. In addition, the price for a slice of kek lapis is cheaper than sellers on Facebook. It is because our kek lapis is homemade and we can cut the cost of margin than buy it directly from other bakers or suppliers. Definitely, the price is suitable for our target market which are students, ladies, housewives, women and also men.
Location of our business
Additionally, our business is located at This location is for customers that live in Peninsular Malaysia. While in Sabah and Sarawak, we also have one location but we only registered in Kedah only as our main location of business. Because one of us is from Sarawak, and all the baker activities are done there. Currently, we don’t have a physical outlet, we only sell it at our home. While our business operation started from 8.00 am to 7.00 pm from Monday to Friday. This time, we will manage the posting on our Facebook page and contact customers.
2.2 Organization Chart
Aromatisse Desserts is a partnership business that includes two members. Our business is still a start-up business and will be managed by Aminah Binti Bolhassan and Amirah Nuraini Binti Asramizam as a partner. That’s why our organization chart only has two names and we are owners of this business. While for profit, we will divide it equally for the expenses of products and sales. But, if this business becomes successful, we have a plan to hire some workers that will help us in baking and other tasks in our business.
In order to make sure all the movements in business run smoothly, we will divide them with a fair amount of duties like, one of us baking and the other one will deal with customers and the orders. We chose to do that because, currently we stay in different regions, then we have to separate them accurately. Other than that, it will decrease the misleading and misunderstanding information that will exist in our business.
2.3 Mission and Vision Our Mission
● To promote Aromatisse Desserts Kek Lapis as a symbol of Sarawak for both tourists and residents.
● To offer the best customer service in terms of effectiveness, receptivity to the customer's needs, and fast service.
● To satisfy customers' demand for affordable Kek Lapis during holiday seasons while maintaining high standards for quality, presentation, and flavour.
● To distinguish LOS Kek Lapis from competing products and attend to each customer's specific needs by giving customers an incredible experience with its special features.
Our Vision
We want to make the Kek Lapis more well-known throughout the world as a symbol of Sarawak.
2.4 Description of Products
Our product is based on homemade Sarawak traditional food which is Kek Lapis. There are many types of Kek Lapis we made which are kek lapis belacan, kek lapis cadbury, kek lapis holiday inn, kek lapis tembikai, kek lapis oreo cheese, kek lapis lumut cheese and kek hati parik.
Our Kek Lapis use high-quality or premium ingredients so the cake becomes delicious and to satisfy customers’ needs. The price of the products is affordable because our followers are the majority around the age of teenagers and university students. Our homemade Kek Lapis are classified into two types which are plain layers and cakes with patterns, motifs, or shapes. Every item must have at least two colours in our Kek Lapis. We used a traditional oven to bake the Kek Lapis so customers can feel the original taste of Sarawak.

Finally, Aromatisse Desserts is a company that sells a variety of homemade Kek Lapis Sarawak via an online platform by creating the Facebook page. We discover that using this online platform makes it simple and practical for us to market and advertise our products to all of our customers not just those in Malaysia, but everywhere else in the world. Other than that, this online platform has allowed our company to be recognised by customers because we post about our most recent and recent business activities. We believe that by doing so, we will be capable of engaging and building positive relationships with our valued customers.
Not to mention, by creating this Facebook page, we were able to improve our understanding of current IT skills for business promotion, including how to make a Facebook link, how to make a landing page for our website, and how to automatically update our business hours. Then, we also learn how to use the hard sell and soft sell techniques to make our Facebook captions more fascinating. These techniques really help us out when it comes to marketing our products to customers.
