KUALA LUMPUR: A study conducted by the Forestry Research Institute of Malaysia (FRIM) over the past twoyears has found sev

eral herbs that can help in cancer treatment.

FRIM directorgeneral Datuk Dr Abd Latif Mohmod said although the findings had yet to be finalised, the study revealed

that cancer cells could be killed with the use of a combination of certain herbs.

"If everything goes as planned, the find

ings of the study will be presented in June next year," he told reporters after the open

ing ceremony on the 14"' Medicinal and Aro

matic Plants Seminar (MAPS14) at FRIM here.

The ceremony was officiated by the Deputy Natural Resources and Environment
