Factors Affecting Factors Affecting Job Satisfaction Males and Females Job Satisfaction Males and Females

According to BasuMallick (2021), job satisfaction could be defined as the level of happiness of the employees with their work and this contentment connected to their daily work, such as with the other workers, managers, satisfaction with firm policy, and the effects of their work on their personal lives.

Many studies of job satisfaction literature reported that female labours had higher levels of job satisfaction than male labours (Zou, 2015).

However, based on the research of (Redmond &

McGuinness, 2019), women and men have preferences of their own job satisfaction such as interest of the genders toward their work and as long as they would get work-life balance.

Clark (1997) mentioned that gender job satisfaction is different in job orientation due to their characteristics experienced and work rewards that both genders get are different.

This research is important to identify the importance and differences of job satisfaction for both genders in the labor market as it may help to analyse the impacts and factors that may influence their job contentment.

This research could help the organisation or firm to improve their level of effectiveness and achieve a better job performance by learning the issues of job satisfaction between both genders .

Other than that, this research academic poster may contribute in the existing literature as it combines the information that they would need and helps the other researchers to understand the contentment that both genders would need in the labour market.

To conclude, the differences between the both genders in the labour market is that women puts huge priority in work-life balance. Although their wages are not as big as the men, women are more satisfied with their jobs.

The diversity of societies cannot deny how much different the world it is where the perception of women stays at home while men working are irrelevant nowadays.

Other than that, males and females have the same level of job satisfaction generally.

However, the differences in factors that are impacting their contentment, found that males and females are not fully identical in terms of what they are searching for in the experiences of working.
