Nor Azhar joined MCMC in November 1999 and his current responsibility as the Head of Infrastructure Division focus on the development of high speed broadband rollout in Malaysia, expansion of the current broadband coverage through Universal Service Provision programs and also the rollout of commercial mobile network deployment nationwide.
Bringing with him almost 20 years of experiences in both regulatory and operational aspects of communication industry covering network planning, deployment of communication infrastructure, stakeholders management, spectrum monitoring and interference resolution, telecommunication numbering, quality of service benchmarking, as well as installation and commissioning of fiber optic and communication equipment.
Nor Azhar graduated from University of Evansville, Indiana, USA, with an honor degree in Electrical Engineering. He is also a member of Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) and a member of Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM).
