Bekir KARLIK received his BS, MS, and PhD degrees from Yildiz Technical University in Istanbul in Turkey respectively. He worked several universities as a Professor in Turkey and abroad. Currently, he has been working as senior researcher at Neurosurgical Simulation Research and Training Centre, McGill University in Montreal, Canada. He has presented Keynote and Plenary Lecturer at national and international computing conferences. He has been editor-in-chief of International Journal of Artificial Intelligence and Expert Systems, the editorial member of several journals, and reviewers of more than 50 different international scientific journals.

Azizah Mohd is associate professor at the Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah of Laws, International Islamic University Malaysia. At present, she is teaching Islamic Family law and Usul al-Fiqh. Her niche area is Islamic Family law and protection of children’s rights in Islam, especially the law on illegitimate and abandoned children. She was the Co-ordinator for IIUM Legal Clinic at Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah of Laws from 2013 - 2017. She obtained her Phd degree from the same University in the year 2005. Her dissertation mainly examines rules relating to Foundlings (laqit) under Islamic law and the law in Malaysia. The first book authored by her is ‘Protection and Adoption of Abandoned Children in Malaysia: A Comparative Overview with the Islamic law’ published in 2008.

Nik Ahmad Kamal Nik Mahmood graduated from the University of Malaya with the LL.B (Hon) degree in 1986. He obtained his Master of Law from the University of London in 1987 and the Doctor of Philosophy the University of Aberdeen, Scotland. He has a diploma in Shari’ah Law and Practices from IIUM. He has held various administrative posts at the Faculty and University level. He was Dean of the Kulliyyah, Dean for Postgraduate Centre, Deputy Rector of Student Affairs and the University’s Legal Adviser. Nik Ahmad Kamal's primary research interest is in public law area. He

specializes in industrial relations law, constitutional law and governance. He was the head of the law, governance and general management cluster of the National Professorial Council. He has published extensively in the area of public law, governance and industrial relations law.

Ashgar Ali Ali Mohamed is a Professor at Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyah of Laws, International Islamic University Malaysia. He graduated with Bachelor of Law (LL.B (Hons)) and Master of Comparative Laws (MCL) from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), Master of Laws (LL.M (Hons)) from the University of Auckland, New Zealand and Doctor of Philosophy in Business Law (Ph.D) from the Graduate School of Management, University Putra Malaysia. He was admitted to the Malaysian Bar as an advocate and solicitor by the High Court of Malaya in 1992. His area of interest includes Employment Law, Civil Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution.

Yusuff Jelili Amuda obtained his B.A in Islamic Law from Al-Azhar University, Cairo Egypt, Master and Doctorate in Comparative Laws at Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah of Laws, International Islamic University, Malaysia in 2010. He obtained his second Doctorate from University Malaya in 2017. Yusuff Jelili Amuda is currently working in College of Law, Prince Sultan University, Saudi Arabia as an Associate Professor.

Marhanum Che Mohd Salleh obtained a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Islamic Banking and Finance from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) in 2014, a Masters in Islamic Finance from the IIUM in 2009 and a Bachelor’s degree in Shariah and Management (with Distinction) from the University of Malaya in 2006. She is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Finance, IIUM and also a member of the Shariah Committee of Syarikat Takaful Malaysia Berhad. Her areas of expertise include Islamic Finance, Banking, Takaful, Shariah, Fiqh Mua’malat, Islamic marketing and Waqf. She has published her works in national and international journals including in the Australian Journal of Basic and

Applied Sciences, Journal of Islamic Finance and Business Research, Journal of Islamic Finance, Asian Academy of Management Journal and International Journal of at-Thaqafah.

Gapur Oziev is from republic of Ingushetia, Russian Federation. Upon mastering English and Arabic he joined International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) in 1998 and graduated in 2002 majoring in Islamic Jurisprudence (Fiqh and Usul Fiqh) and minoring in Political Science.

He remained at the university to complete his Master and Phd in 2004 and 2008 respectively. Currently he is an Associate Professor at the department of economics of the faculty of economics and management science of the university teaching various undergraduate and master courses in the area of Islamic banking and finance. Dr.Gapur has been more than once invited as consultant to various projects organized by Islamic Development Bank of Saudi Araia and Unirazak-IBFIM- Matrade consortium of Malaysia in implementing IBF in Russian Federation as a pilot project. Since 2015 he has been appointed as a member of Shariah board of experts at National Rating Agency of Russia.

Magomet Yandiev graduated from Chechen University in 1991, an economist. In 1996 defended thesis on the topic “Financial basemend of local budgets” at Russian Economic University named after G.V.

Plekhanov, PhD in Finance. Since 1996 he has been working as an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Economics of Lomonosov Moscow State University. Professional interests are: regional and Municipal Finance, Financial Markets, Corporate Finance, Islamic Finance. Author of more than 50 scientific articles, http://ssrn.com/

author=1278584. Served as an independent researcher for Moscow office of the World Bank, Ministry of Finance of Russia, regional and municipal authorities. Collaborated with the biggest russian newspaper Rossiyskay Gazeta. In 2011-2012 headed the Ministry of Economic Development of the Republic of Ingushetia.

Hasaruddin completed undergraduate (S1) and was believed to be a teaching assistant for one semester at the Department of Arabic Language and Literature Faculty of Adab IAIN Alauddin Makassar.

In 1997, the author went to Jakarta to continue to graduate program (S2) education at the State Islamic Institute (IAIN) SYAHID Jakarta.

In mid-1999 the authors successfully completed graduate program in History of Islamic Civilization. In the end of 1999, the author returned to Makassar and in that year he was appointed as Lecturer (PNS) of History of Islamic Civilization at the Faculty of Da'wa IAIN Alauddin Makassar. In 2006, the author continued his post graduate (s3) at the State Islamic University (UIN) Alauddin Makassar and completed in 2009. Since 2010 to 2014 the author was a member of the Disciplinary Commission (Komdis) UIN Alauddin Makassar. Since 2012- now, the author is active as a lecturer at the Graduate Master and Doctoral Program in Alauddin State Islamic University in Makassar. The author has written some published and unpublished excellent articles. In addition to teaching as a lecturer, the author is also active as a preacher / religious speaker on IMMIM since 2005- present.

Sitti Mania graduated her Doctoral Program from Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ) at Department of Research and Education Evaluation in 2003.She is a lecturer on Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher in Universitas Islam Negeri Alauddin Makassar in which the primary subjects are Methodology of Education Research and Education Evaluation. She also teaches for Postgraduate students. She has been doing many things instead of teaching, such as the chief of Education Development in Pesantren of Al-Junaidiyah in Watampone in 2013.

She was getting involved on Teachers and Schools competence development. She writes many books and articles actively which are

Muh. Anis got a Bachelor of Islamic Education in Islamic Religious Education Courses at Islamic High School of Muhammadiyah Sinjai 2005. He have ever attended, Certification Teacher Education in Islamic State University of Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta in 2010. He completed his Masters studies (S-2) in Islamic State University of Alauddin Makassar majoring at History of Islamic Civilization in

2013. A temporary, while doing his doctoral education program at the State Islamic State University of Alauddin Makassar concentrations History of Islamic Civilization. Currently he is active in teaching at three High School, namely: the Islamic Institute of Muhammadiyah Sinjai, High School Social and Political Sciences of Muhammadiyah Sinjai, High School of Agricultural Sciences of Muhammadiyah Sinjai.

Muhammad Tahir Jan, a PhD in Business Administration (Marketing) in 2012 and currently working with International Islamic University Malaysia. He prefer to research various contemporary topics of marketing. Currently, he working on many topics, including: development of Islamic Brand Personality Model and its impact on customer satisfaction, understanding fashion from Muslim Women Perspective, adoption of latest technologies by customers, and investigation of service quality in different industries. He normally use complex statistical modelling technique, namely, Structural Equation Modelling. For his teaching passion, he has active educational channels on YouTube & Facebook, where he record and upload videos for students.

Ibrahim Nuhu Tahir was born in Zaria, Nigeria. The author graduated with a B.A. (first class of honours) in Shari’ah and Islamic Studies from the Kulliyyah of Shari’ah in the International Islamic University of Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah and a Post-Graduate Diploma (first class of honours) in Islamic Law and Islamic Political Science from the same university. He then proceeded to earn a Master’s degree in Shari’ah and Civil Laws from the international Islamic University of Malaysia. Thereafter he obtained his Ph.d in Shari’ah and Civil Laws from the same university where he now works as Assistant Professor in the Kulliyyah of Economics and Management Sciences in the Department of Economics.

Ros Mahwati Ahmad Zakaria is a Research Fellow at Institute of the Malay World and Civilization (ATMA), The National University of Malaysia. Her work now focuses on Islamic culture and art in the Malay World such as manuscripts, textiles and life styles because

better comprehension in culture offers best knowledge and conception in Malay civilization. Before completed her PhD in 2015 from the National University of Malaysia, she was a Senior Curator at Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia for 14 years with remarkable experiences in research, museum collection and exhibition management.

Zuliskandar Ramli is a Senior Research Fellow and a Deputy Director at Institute of the Malay World and Civilization (ATMA), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. His research is focus on archaeology, archaeometry, materials culture and heritage tourism. He had published more than 400 articles and engaged in numerous projects locally and internationally.

Zuraidah binti Kamaruddin obtained her Ph.D of Usuluddin (2015) and Master of Usuluddin from Malaya University. She graduated from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) with specialization on Fiqh and Usul Fiqh. She is currently working as an Assistant Professor in Kulliyyah of Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Human Sciences, IIUM. Her academic area of interest is Aqidah and Islamic Thought.

Saidatolakma Mohd Yunus graduated with Bachelor of Fiqh and Usul al Fiqh, Master of Fiqh and Usul al Fiqh, and Doctor of Philosophy in Islamic banking and Finance (2015) from International Islamic University Malaysia. Currently, she joined the Kulliyyah of Islamic Revealed Knowledge as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Fiqh and Usul al-Fiqh. Her areas of interest include Islamic Banking and finance, Islamic banking products, purification of non-halal income, social finance, Islamic financial transactions and contracts as well as Fiqh muamalat.

Adibah Abdul Rahim obtained her Ph.D (2004) in Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Heritage from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). She is currently working as an Associate Professor in Kulliyyah of Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Human Sciences, IIUM. Her academic area of interest is Contemporary Islamic

Thought, Islam and Modern Ideologies, Religious Studies, Modern Muslim Thinkers and others.

Muhammad Afif Mohd Badrol is a lecturer at the University College Bestari in Setiu, Terengganu. He earned his Bachelor degree of Sharia in Origin of Debt from Mu’tah University of Jordan and a Master degree in Islamic Revealed Knowledge specializing in Fiqh and Usul Al-Fiqh from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) in 2017. Besides that, he is actively involved in community services program. Currently, he also is pursuing his PhD at University Sultan Zainal Abidin. Terengganu. Thus far he has published articles in reputable journals and presented paper in international conferences.

Abdul Bari Awang is a Malaysian citizen. He obtained his Ph.d from Faculty of Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Human Sciences, International Islamic University Malaysia in 2005. To date, he has published 2 books and numerous Journal Articles. He also has presented papers in National and International conferences.

Currently, he is Head of Fiqh and Usul al-Fiqh Department, Faculty of Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Human Sciences, International Islamic University Malaysia. He also is a member of Fatwa Committee in Federal Territory, SCOM for PIBB and AIA Public Takaful.

Sayed Sikandar Shah Haneef hails from Kabul, Afghanistan. He obtained his Ph.d from Kulliyyah of Laws, International Islamic University Malaysia in 1998. To date, he has published 11 books and 90 Journal Articles, some indexed in SCOPUS and ISI. He also has presented numerous papers in National and International conferences.

Currently, he is a Professor of Islamic Jurisprudence in the Department of Fiqh and Usul al-Fiqh, Faculty of Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Human Sciences, International Islamic University Malaysia. In the year 2012, he was awarded Isma`il Faruqi`s Quality Publication Award by the University. He also was conferred with the certificate of recognition as one of the outstanding Faculty`s Active Publishers in 2018.
