1. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

First of all, we would like to thank Allah for his blessings and guidance throughout this portfolio. We were able to finish the assignment that had been given to us. This task has to be done with my partner even though we have a few problems while doing this assignment. Luckily, all of the issues can be settled, and we were able to adapt properly and wisely.

Besides that, a big thanks to our lecturer for Principle of Entrepreneurship (ENT530), Madam Fazlina, because without her guidance, our assignment could not be done properly. She always gives us support and guides us on how to do our assignments in order to produce a good outcome.

Not only that, we would like to thank everyone who has contributed directly and

indirectly to the portfolio. Also, we would like to thank our family for giving us their support by encouraging us and giving us endless support to complete this assignment.

Finally, thanks to our beloved friends who always stick together and also work hard to produce a good assignment with all affordance and responsibility. We hope that all this effort will give us a lot of benefits. We would also like to thank all our classmates because they also helped us with our assignment. They always give us ideas and comments on our projects so that we can improve them in many ways.

2. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Crave bites is a business that provides products that are suitable for all ages from young people to older. We are offering a choco jar that tastes good . We use premium chocolate and offer an affordable price to our customers.

We choose choco jar as our product because most Malaysians love chocolate. Even though many shops sell choco jars, it is a marketable product. The taste of our choco jar itself is different from other brands. The Choco jar market of buying keeps changing from time to time.

But with our economic condition, the power of buying is decreasing, so we decide to sell choco jars that have a premium taste and they will see the difference between other brands.

Our business is still new and far from established. Whatever it is, we always make sure that we give the best for our customers. We keep on trying to make sure our brand achieves the target. Our vision is to ensure that customers are happy and at the same time provide an affordable price to our customers. Moreover, our business goal is to make sure our brand is one of the top brands in Malaysia and maybe at the international level.

For now, we are focusing on an online platform and looking forward to having our physical store. We were more active on Facebook but now we are trying to promote our product on another online platform which is Instagram and Shopee. We do think that Facebook is a great platform to promote our product because there are more older people who love to scroll products and buy them from Facebook pages. Nowadays, th elderly are more preferred to use Facebook rather than another online platform. It does make our business grow.

6. INTRODUCTION OF BUSINESS

6.1 Name and address of business

The name of the business is Crave Bites. We decided to use this name based on our product 's uniqueness and people will buy our product when they are craving for something sweet. We do have various types of toppings such as original, kitkat and cadbury. Those choco jars have a premium taste. We choose the crave bites because it sounds unique and every bite that they eat, they will love it. Since our target market is among all ages, they most likely would be attracted to the brand name because it is easy to pronounce and remember.

For the business address, since we are not an established brand, we do not have any physical store at the time being. The business is operated through online platforms which are Facebook and Whatsapp. The main base location was at Kuantan, Pahang. For those who live near Kuantan, they can just pick up from our location. Furthermore, for delivery services we are using third parties to ship our products to customers by J&T Express and Poslaju. The company has already registered under the Go-Ecommerce system.

● To create and continuously strive for perfect premium chocolates that will put a smile on our customers’ face.

● To position ourselves as a cutting-edge brand in the Malaysia chocolate and confectionery market and as among the most reputable and well-known Malaysia chocolate brands in the world.

6.4 Description of Products or Service

Crave Bites is a business that provides a variety of toppings to our customers with good quality and affordable prices. The toppings that we have are original, kitkat and cadbury. We are not limiting our product to one topping only but we do have a difference of it and let the

customer choose. Customers can choose according to their personal preferences.

We choose to sell choco jar because we want to make sure that all customers are satisfied with the taste of our premium chocolate. Our products are suitable for all ages but our main target market is for students, officemates and housewives. We know that most Malaysians did not have time to eat for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Our choco jar can be eaten with bread, icecream, bomboloni and many more. We also make sure that our choco jars are easy to bring to anywhere whenever they feel hungry.

There are many choco jar brands in the market. Apart from that, we have to make our branding different from other competitors. Our job is to find the right supplier for our choco jar such as container, mini coco crunch, beryl’s chocolate compound and sticker. We believe that our price for a choco jar is affordable for those who are craving for something sweet. Moreover, choco jars can be eaten on their daily basis. Not only that, we also provide a free gift like candy to appreciate our customer. This kind of appreciation will help us to gain more customers.

7.7 Sales Report

As Crave Bites is a business that establishes partnership, each of us contributes RM100 for buying stocks and other expenses. Crave Bites has gained profit approximately RM89 after deducting other expenses such as delivery which is postage through courier services. We achieved our sales around RM128. Besides, each contributor agrees to divide the profits with a ratio of 50:50 . Each contributor will receive a profit around RM44.50. Below are sales

contributions of Crave Bites at the end of July 2022.

8. CONCLUSION

In conclusion, Facebook is an excellent platform for a business to introduce and promote the product. All the tools provided in Facebook make it easier for businesses to promote products and develop business. Since it has a large user base, it makes it easy for small businesses to gain profit and get potential customers. Not only for online business but also for businesses that have a physical store, they can attract customers from Facebook because people nowadays prefer to do some research before going to that place. They can gain all information needed and see good feedback from other customers on Facebook.

As for our business Crave Bites, we are focusing more on Facebook. It does help our business to expand and reach more customers. The platform we use is good enough, but we need to develop our skills and knowledge on how to attract more customers. Besides that, we have to consider how to grow the platform such as Instagram and Shopee. Moreover, we need to develop skills and knowledge in business, especially in marketing. For example, we need to know what kind of picture and caption to post that can grab customer’s attention.

The platform and skills is a must to attract customers and important for a business to grow. Without these platforms, we will not be able to reach and achieve target market attention.

The product we sell is the most important part, the business should sell a product that is needed by the customer and have added value so that the product is different from other competitors.
