ABSTRACT
There are many waysto removed coconut husk.One of the most common ways toremoved themisthe traditional way which by using a machete ora crowbar. This type of tools requires a lot ofeffort and energy because it use a lot ofswingingprocess.Notto mention, itmay also bring harmto the user like gettingwounded by the sharp blade.Thereshouldbe many coconuts husk peeler machine available across the market but usually there are pricier especially the automatic one. This coconut huskmachine is made to reduce thecostofcoconut husk peeler machine so thatitcanbereachedbythetarget market. Therefore, the objectiveofthisproject is to fabricate a manual coconut husk peeler machine thatis as efficient astheautomatic one but with a cheaper price than the market price by fabrication method. This peeler will be equipped with two stainless steel spikey roller that rotated in oppositeway to tearthecoconut husk. This material is durable, affordable and powerful enough to unhusk the coconut. The method used in this project is the Verein Deutsche Inginieuer 2222 method (VDI 2222).
Furthermore,themechanismusedare a gear for the roller to function. Inthe future,this machine willgive benefit to many users.

CHAPTER 1 INTRODUCTION
1.0 Background of Study
Coconut is frequently used inMalaysia since its componenthas numerous health benefits. One ofthe most frequently used methods was to extracting thecoconutmilk from the coconut. To extract it,thecoconut must first bede-husked. Traditionally,itwasunhusked with tools likea machete or a spike, butbecause these methods required a lot of labor skill and were exhausting to use, many peoplebegan to design and manufacture a coconut husk peeling machineto solve the problem. However, mostof the currentmachines on the market are rather expensiveand require asignificant amount of money to operate because they consume a lot ofelectricity.
For this reason, the designed project is proposed to overcome thestated problem by designing anddevelopinga manual coconut husk peeler machine. This machine is designedto unhusk one average-weightcoconut at a time. Woods and steelssuchas alloy steel and stainless steel areexamplesof materials that can be used. The frame, roller spike, gear, and handle would be the most important parts of this project. The structuremust be strong enough to support the weight ofthecoconut and the roller spike.Furthermore, theroller spike material must behard enough in order to separatethehusk from thecoconut.
1.1 ProblemStatement
There are several types of coconut huskmachine thathas similar design like this designed project but each of them has different advantages and disadvantages. Thecoconut husk peeler machine that was already in the market requiresalot of money andelectricity to operate it. Furthermore, the manual one requires a lot ofswingingforce and energy to unhuskedthe coconut. By usingthis manual spikey roller coconut husk peeler, the user can operate this machine comfortably and requires lesser money to operate it.

1.2 Objectives
The main objectivesof this project are:
1. To propose and design acoconuthusk peeler design usingSolidworks software.
2. To fabricate a coconut husk peeler machine with an affordable price.

Thescopeofworkforthis designed projectis:
1. The productmust be easy for user to operate.
2. Estimate the productcost.
3. The fabrication processincludes cutting, assembling and welding.
4. Thedesigned processused areSolidworksapplication.
5. Thisproduct is to beused by all kinds of group and individualuser.
