The worldwide ministry of the Church of the Nazarene is also shaped by this Great Commission, focusing on evangelism, compassionate ministry, and education. The Church has prospered as these components of its mission have evolved, moving from "global presence" to "global community" as a result of equipping and strengthening indigenous leaders (Handbook of the Church of the Nazarene Historical Statement, p. " p. 23).

PRACTICUM
Normally, the Internship will take place in the parish ministry under the direction of a mature pastor. In some cases, depending on the student's sense of vocation, the Internship may include service in a pre-church organization, hospital, prison, or community development program. Pre-briefing and de-briefing group seminars, ministry participation, verbal and written reflections and evaluations, reports, analyses, supervisory conferences, case studies, and time commitment are all part of the Internship experience.
The Practicum can be fulfilled by following an approved course in Clinical Pastoral Education.
INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
Before students begin field training, the faculty supervisor will assign and discuss readings. Generally, the field supervisor will meet with the student at an agreed time and provide direction for the student's fieldwork. The field supervisor will submit a written report and evaluation of the student to the Internship Director.
All internships involving the Church of the Nazarene must have the approval of the regional director, the appropriate field strategy coordinator, and the local district superintendent.
THESIS
The student must follow the advice of advisors and readers at each stage of thesis development. The grade for the thesis and for writing the thesis is "F". The student must re-enroll to write the thesis. MANUFACTURED, the student has one year to present the thesis in its final form and face the committee again.
If the student in a category does not submit the directed thesis within one year of the original defense, he or she is not entitled to the exam.
PRACTICES WITHIN CLASSES C LASS A TTENDANCE
At least four final copies, bound in red, must be submitted to the Registrar for processing of the Special Order number. CONDITION PASSED and the student does not hand in the corrected copies within five (5) days before the start, the student has one year from the date of the defense to submit the thesis in final corrected form, which must then be approved by the advisor , the panelists and the Academic Dean. Incomplete requests must be made in writing to the Academic Dean three-quarters of the way through a course (the exact date will be determined by the Registrar and posted on the APNTS website). If the "I" is not dropped by the end of the next semester, or by the end of the summer session (if second semester), the course grade becomes an "F." In the case of the thesis seminar, the "I" will be removed after the successful completion of the proposal defense, and, in the case of the thesis writing, the "I" will be removed when the thesis is successfully forwarded. panel and the final copy of the thesis is submitted to the registrar.
Success rating is used occasionally where there is little documentary basis for a quality rating.
REPEATING CLASSES
It appears that the students had a valid justification for not completing the course assignments within the appropriate deadlines set by the teacher. The Academic Dean, in consultation with the professor(s), will approve or deny the request with a copy of the response provided to the professor(s) involved. Students are expected to attend classes but are not required to submit assignments or take tests.
The quality points assigned to various grades for the purpose of determining grade point average (GPA) are as follows:
