COURSE SYLLABUS Course Code : 6ANIM2D

Prerequisite : 6BDRAW

Course Credit : 3 Units (6 hours LAB) Year Level: 2nd year Degree Program : BSIT with Area of Specialization in Animation

Course Description:

This course introduces and allows students to create a short 2D animated film with an application and integration of the principles of animation using different types and techniques of 2D animation like the traditional, stop motion and computer animation.

The animation production processes are also explored and may be utilized in the creation of the 2D Digital Animation.

At the end of the course, students will be able to:

independently without the need for prodding, coordinate with other business professionals and professionals from other disciplines to achieve goals and complete tasks and raise issues and concerns to the team in order to seek consensus resolutions

BSEMC08: Function effectively as a member or leader of multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams, recognizing the different roles within a team to accomplish a common goal

BSEMC10: Communicate effectively with the computing community and with society at large about complex computing activities through logical writing, presentations, and clear instructions in both English and Filipino.
