(3) GUIDANCE COUNSELOR ASSISTANTS

(CONTRACT OF SERVICE)

Guidance and Counseling Services Center

(Main Campus, Malolos, Bulacan)

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education : Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Psychology or Bachelor of Science in Social Works MA units in Counseling or willingness to pursue in MA in Guidance and Counseling, an advantage

Work Experience : None required Training : Willing to be trained

Skills : With excellent interpersonal skills

Eligibility : Registered Psychometrician or Registered Social Worker

COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

• Computer literate

• Has the ability to multi-task DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITITES:

• Assists students with personal/academic concern through counseling/psychosocial support service.

• Assists in preparing test schedules and administering individual and group tests in main and satellite campuses.

• Participates in various guidance sessions with students and ensure the growth of students and prepares vocational goals for all.

• Assists the students who are dropping their subject/s.

• Helps in the compiling and evaluating of the Individual Inventory Files.

• Prepares written reports based on the profile and data gathered from the students;

• Assists in the selection and evaluation of psychological tests and other appraisal devices of the Guidance Center

• Checks and scores psychological tests administered to students.

• Encodes and submit written report of test result and interpretation.

• Prepares forms, invitation, questionnaires, and other instruments needed for gathering information about the students;

• Helps in the conduct of research and evaluation activities of the center.

• Do related work.

1. Signed application letter addressed to the University President Dr. Cecilia N. Gascon;

2. Comprehensive Resume with one (1) Recent passport-sized picture;

3. Fully Accomplished Personal Data Sheet (PDS) with recent passport-sized picture (CS Form No. 212 Revised 2017) which can be downloaded at www.csc.gov.ph;

4. Performance rating in the last rating period (for private companies/institution) / IPCR for government;

5. Scanned copy of the supporting documents:

o Transcript of Records o Diploma

o Certificate of Grades (number of units earned in Graduate Studies, if applicable) o Seminar/Certificates attended within last five (5) years

o Certificate of Board of Ratings/Eligibility (if applicable) o Certificate/s of Employment signed by previous employer
