THE VICE PRESIDENT FOR ADMINISTRATION AND FINANCE with the following College Graduate
V\/ith at least one (1) year supervisory experience in janitorial services Relevant and related trainings
None required
Good communication skills (written and oral) Physically fit and not more than 45 years old
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Directs and supervises the work of a group of janitors in cleaning and maintaining the buildings and grounds of the university.
• Prepare work schedules and ground maintenance plans and assignments of janitors.
• Executes approved ground maintenance plans.
• Conducts routine inspection for cleanliness and proper upkeep of buildings, grounds and other assigned areas to janitors.
• Instructs janitors on proper work procedures and checks their accomplished tasks.
• Secures and issues cleaning/ housekeeping/ maintenance tools, supplies and materials, and monitors availability of the same.
• Monitors attendance and materials discipline among janitors under his/her supervision.
• Prepares monthly/periodic reports related to attendance and work performance of janitors; distribution and use of supplies and materials; and maintenance planning.
• Does related work that may be assigned from time to time.
