ABSTRACT
The Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) is currently utilizing a paper-based preparation of its Office Performance Commitment and Review (OPCR) and Individual
Performance Commitment and Review (ICPR). Being processed manually, data collection and recording is exposed to various risks and problems. It is also time consuming; and thus, where there is a lack of time in consolidating the reports, its reliability is ultimately compromised.
This study aims to provide PUP with an online Performance Management System – a tool that would provide ease in the processes of monitoring and recording of performance commitments and accomplishments of employees, while also taking in high consideration the reliability of the reports it will produce.
The proponent used Rapid Application Development Methodology in the development of the system. PHP Codelgniter and MySQL were used as the Front-end and Back-end of the system, respectively.
A survey tool was used for the impact study. The questionnaire will determine the effectiveness of the system, as well as the satisfaction it brings to its users.
