Q SCHOLARSHIP PRIVILEGES

1. School Fees - Actual tuition and other school fees basedonStatementofAccountorOfficialReceipt.

2. LearningMaterials and/or Connectivity Allowance - Forprescribed textbooks andessentialschoolsupplies tobereleasedasoutrightgrant.

3. Thesis/DissertationAllowance

4. Transportation Allowance - Restricted international one round trip economy fare (start and end of the scholarshipperiodonly).

SERVICE OBLIGATION

The scholar, immediatelyupon completion of his/her scholarshipprogram, shall returntothePhilippinesto renderservice physically on full-time basis in his/her sending institution, preferably along his/her field of specialization for a period equivalent to twice the length of time or a fraction thereof that he/she enjoyedtheMS/PhDscholarship.

Any service rendered before the completion of the scholarship shall not be counted/considered part of theserviceobligation.

Nolateralentrantshallbeconsidered.

The scholar must not avail or enjoy any other scholarships.

Thescholarmustmakeafull-timecommitmenttothe scholarshipandnotengageinanyformofemployment duringthescholarshipperiod.

Non-completion ofdegreeorfailureto renderservice, preferably in his/her sending institution, may be a groundforrefund infullthetotal financialassistance received with 12% interest to the DOST-SEI; and the salaries and other remunerations, if there is any, to his/hersendinginstitution.
