Wood Identification
Objective

This service assists different academic and research institutions in
properly identifying wood samples for research and instruction purposes.
It also assists wood processors in meeting customers’ wood species specifications.
Duration/Date It is done whole year round.
Duration depends on the condition of the sample, inclusion of the
unknown in our known species in the department among others. (5mins. – 3 weeks)
Target Beneficiaries
Academic and research institutions, and wood processors.
Cost of
Participation None.
Participants can give out donations usually in the form of office supplies.

administrative staff are involved in the provision of the aforementioned service.
