IV. MSN PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEOs) The MSN graduates are expected to:
1. Utilize their understanding of the context of nursing practice in initiating actions or interventions and in planning and evaluating programs and policies for specific work settings/foci: client care; nursing education;
nursing research; and nursing leadership, governance, and management;

An Angelite MSN student is able to demonstrate and master the ability to:

VI. COURSE DESCRIPTION
This module is the application of staffing and controlling principles of the management process. Discussion focuses on how staffing and controlling processes are to be conducted both at unit and departmental levels.
VII. COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
At the end of the module, the students will be able to:
1. describe staffing and controlling principles at the unit and departmental levels;
2. develop tools that facilitate staffing and controlling functions of a manager or administrator;
3. utilize developed tools in staffing and evaluating units or department on how these are managed; and
4. demonstrate critical thinking in analyzing problems, issues and concerns in managing a unit or a department.
