Guidelines on Achievement Test
1. To measure the extent to which the students have attained the competencies set for them during the 4th quarter HBOL, the Achievement test will be administered among students (of all grade levels except grade 11) who have stable internet connection and who were able to engage in the Home-based Online Learning during the 4th Quarter. The results of the achievement test will not have any effect on the students’ grades.
2. The Achievement Test will be posted in this on the previously allotted days for the different subjects since the start of the Home-Based Online Learning but may be accomplished / submitted until Monday, May 18,2020.

TLE, Mathematics 3. The coverage of the Achievement Test will be all the 4th Quarter lessons.
4. The nature of assessment for the different subjects across grade levels is as follows:

Preschool Performance-Based Assessment: Students will be asked to perform an authentic assessment entitled “Show and Tell ECQ Experience” with the help of their
parents/guardians, the students will submit a video (not more than two minutes) of activities that they meaningfully do together with their family members. The activity will be ended by a 1 or 2- line prayer. A rubric will be used to score the activity.
In addition, an enrichment activity will also be given to them: 10 multiple choice (MC) items for N1 and N2 (Math, Reading, (N1), Math, Reading Language and Filipino (N2),15 MC items for Kinder (Math, Reading, Language and Filipino, and Hands-on Activity (Keyboarding) on Digital Literacy).

*Authentic assessments and accompanying rubrics will be clearly discussed by teachers concerned to their students prior to the scheduled Achievement Test. Students are enjoined to ask clarification questions to their teachers before they accomplish authentic assessments.
5. Students who have no internet connection are not obliged to take the Achievement Test as they were not able to engage in the 4th quarter learning materials.
6. Fortuitous events that might occur while the students are taking the Achievement Test such as but not limited to loss of internet connectivity or power interruption which may affect the students’ performance while taking the Achievement Test should be reported to the subject teacher concerned.
7. The results of the Achievement Test will be sent to the parents and the students on or before May 29, 2020.
8. The Achievement Test data will be used to evaluate and further improve the HBOL system and ascertain the knowledge, understanding and skills that students had difficulty in acquiring, which can form the basis of adjusting the competencies in the curriculum guide for SY 2020-2021.
