2019 Summer Sumo Games and Youth Robotics Convention May 24-25, 2019
Our Grade School and High School robotics team brought home major prizes in the 2019 Summer Sumo Games and Youth Robotics Convention that was held last May 24-25 at the St. Peter The Apostle School in Manila. In addition to our students, their coaches—Engr. Norman Andres, Dr. Alex Pasion, Dr. Joseph Victor Generato, Mr.
Benito Quinit, Jr. and Mr. Danilo Bilbao Jr.—also participated and were able to win prizes in the Professional division of said categories.
Of the seven categories hosted in the event, our students and their coaches won in the three categories that they participated in: SumoBot, Line Tracing, and Robot Building Skills Challenge. Below is a list of their wins:

The two-day annual event provides an avenue for children and adults to engage in friendly competition and share tips and practices in robot building, programming, solutions, and strategies in winning in different games.

The De La Salle Araneta University Board of Trustees Meeting is scheduled to be held on June 5 (Wednesday), 10:00 AM – 12:00 NN, at the President’s Conference Room.
Eid’l Fitr 2019 June 5, 2019
By virtue of Proclamation No. 729 s. 2019, President Rodrigo Duterte has declared June 5 (Wednesday) as a regular non-working holiday throughout the country. This is in celebration of Eid’l Fitr (Feast of Ramadan).
As such, there will be no work and classes on Wednesday. Normal university operations and classes will resume on June 6 (Thursday).
Please be guided accordingly.
