Call for Donations for Taal Volcano Eruption Victims

Starting January 16, 2020

The Lasallian Mission and Formation Office (LMFO) is inviting the entire university community to help the families who were affected in the Taal Volcano eruption last January 12.

You may bring cash or in kind donations such as canned goods, drinking water, face masks, clothes, blankets, toiletries, diapers, etc. at the LMFO from Mondays–Fridays, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM and at the University Student Council (USC) Office from Thursdays & Fridays, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM. Please look for Mr. Mark Lanuza (LMFO) or Mr. Jarlan Evangelista (USC).

Foundation Anniversary Bazaar and Agri-Trade Fair Grand Opening

The 300 Youth Sojourn (300 YS) 2020 is a journey that traces the footsteps of St. John Baptist de La Salle’s life and his struggles in his ministry—the education of the young, especially the poor—through a pilgrimage to the 16 La Salle Schools in the Philippines. The pilgrimage is centered on values of sacrifice, reflection, and practice with regards to one’s individual life. The objectives of the 300YS for the participants are:

The 74th Foundation Anniversary Bazaar and Agri-Trade Fair will have its grand opening through a blessing ceremony on January 20 (Monday), 9:00 AM. The ceremony will start at the HS Quadrangle (for food stalls) and will proceed to the Staging Area (non–food stalls).

A food safety seminar exclusively for food concessionaires, which will be facilitated by Dr Carolina Ditan, will follow at 10:00 AM, at Room 418, of the Life Science Building.

Everyone is invited to attend the grand opening.

2. To gain knowledge about the Philippine Lasallian Family and the identities of the 16 schools 3. To demonstrate an appreciation for the Lasallian Vocation

The 300 YS Participants will be visiting the university on January 20 (Monday) and Salikneta Farm on January 21 (Tuesday).

Last Day of Late Enrolment for SHS, TED and Graduate Studies Students

January 21, 2020

Please be advised that the last day of late enrolment for Senior High School and Tertiary Education students is on January 21 (Tuesday). The said date is also the deadline for the availment of scholarship grants for eligible students for Term 3, SY 2019- 2020. In addition, the last day of enrolment for Graduate Studies is on January 25 (Saturday).

Kindly make the necessary coordination with the appropriate offices for your enrolment, as well as scholarship availment and processing.

Please be guided accordingly.

DLSAU International Multidisciplinary Research Conference

January 24, 2020 to January 25, 2020

The University Research Center will be hosting the 2nd DLSAU International Multidisciplinary Research

Conference on January 24 (Friday) to January 25 (Saturday), with the theme Industrial Revolution 4.0: Research at the Forefront. A total of 150 participants are expected to attend.
