Temporary Relocation of Metrobank Balintawak Branch August 2018
Please be informed that the Metrobank Balintawak Branch—situated at 936 A Bonifacio Ave., Balingasa, Balintawak, Quezon City—has been temporarily relocated to the Metrobank Del Monte Branch at 295 Del Monte Ave cor. G. Roxas Street, Brgy. Manresa, Quezon City to give way to reconstruction works at the Balintawak Branch building.
To accommodate the number of daily over-the-counter depositors at the Balintawak branch, one teller station will be designated as “satellite branch” at the Metrobank EDSA – Kalookan Center Branch (located at EDSA near cor. A. De Jesus Street, Caloocan City).

Mr. Christopher N. Polanco Limited Acceptance of Second-Endorsed Checks
October 2018
Pursuant to the provisions of Item 8, Circular No. 251 by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas dated July 7, 2002 that requires banks to adopt reasonable measures to prevent the use of their facilities for laundering of proceeds of crimes and other illegal activities, all banks are enjoined to adopt stricter policy guidelines in the acceptance of second-endorsed checks.
As such, De La Salle Araneta University shall limit the acceptance of second-endorsed checks from properly identified clients and will only do so “after establishing that the nature of the business of the said client justifies, or at least, makes practical the deposit of second-endorsed checks”. This practice shall be effectively adopted by the university immediately.

Eastwood Mall Pet Blessing and Pet Halloween October 7 & 28, 2018
Two of our veterinary medicine student organizations will be participating in the annual pet blessing on October 7 and pet Halloween event on October 31 at the Eastwood Mall Open Park in Libis, Quezon City. For both events, the organizations will be conducting free anti-rabies vaccinations.
Activities lined up for the annual pet blessing are the Bark Yoga, Pet Gala, Smooch-a-Pooch, Hold Your Fear, No Paw Left Behind, Woof of Service, Pet Safety, Hiss Maze, and Paw and Palm of Fame. For the annual pet Halloween, activities include trick or treat, petting zoo, and pet and owner memorabilia.
