Labor Day May 1, 2019

By virtue of Proclamation No. 555 s. 2018, President Rodrigo Duterte has declared May 1 (Wednesday) as regular non-working holiday throughout the country. This is in observance of Labor Day.

As such, work and university operations are suspended on Wednesday. Normal office and university operations will resume on May 2 (Thursday).

Please be guided accordingly.

Institutional Bulletin

Institutional Planning for SY 2019-2020 April 29, 2019 to April 30, 2019

To better prepare and plan out institutional strategic goals, thrusts, and priorities for the next few years leading to the celebration of our 75th year in SY 2020-2021, the university will be having an in-house Institutional Evaluation and Planning Workshop, which will be held at The Forum (DLSAU) on April 29 (Monday) and 30 (Tuesday). Units will be presenting their action plans that have been aligned with the strategic directions that were launched earlier this year.

Summer Robotics Camp May 6, 2019 to May 18, 2019

The university will be hosting its very first summer robotics camp from May 6 (Monday) to May 18 (Saturday).

There will be a total of four camps:

May 6 (Monday) to May 17 (Friday)

Camp 1 MWF 09:00 AM-12:00 NN Grade 3 to 6

Camp 2 MWF 01:00 PM-04:00 PM Grade 7 to 10

May 7 (Tuesday) to 18 (Saturday)

Camp 3 TTHS 09:00 AM-12:00 NN Grade 7 to 10 Camp 4 TTHS 01:00 PM-04:00 PM Grade 3 to 6

Each camp will only have a maximum of 20 students to ensure a 2 student to 1 robot kit ratio. Every camp will have six sessions: five sessions of hands-on robotics training and one session for the robotics competition. Certificates and medals will be given after the culminating activities on May 17 and 18, where there will be Line Tracing and Sumobot competitions.

The registration fee for each camp is P3 000, where P1 500 should be paid upon registration and the remaining balance should be paid on or before May 16 and 17 (before the scheduled culminating activities on May 17 and 18).
