INVITATION TO BID (rebid)

A. The MSU- Iligan Institute of Technology through its Bids and Awards Committee invites interested suppliers to apply for eligibility and to bid for the hereunder project:

Name of Project : Supply of Various Labor and Materials

Location : MSU-Iligan Institute of Technology

Approved Budget : PhP515,600.00

Source of Fund : GAA

Delivery Period : Thirty (30) days upon receipt of P.O.

Non-refundable Bidder Fee : PhP600.00

Reference No. : 2014 – 067

LOT 1 – for Renovation of Room 128, 1st Floor, CSM Building.

Supply of labor and materials in the Renovation of Room 128, 1st Floor, CSM Building.

Scope of Works:

1. Includes removal of wooden partition, existing tiles at counter sink, existing false beams (3 units) and removal of existing electrical materials.

2. Removal of existing steel casement windows and retouching of area affected by the removal.

3. Installation of ceramics floor tiles, 600mm x 600mm (please refer to color of tiles at Room 122).

4. Installation of dry wall partition (both face) using C-tracks and C-studs with ¼” marine plywood painted with color the same as existing.

5. Installation of 200mm x 300mm x 5610mm false beams (3 units) in 3.50mm thick hardilite board on light metal frames painted with white.

6. Installation of false columns. (see sketch plan).

7. Fabrication and installation of sliding green board and white board.

8. Fabrication and installation of overhead projector frames.

9. Installation of electrical fixtures, pipings and all needed accessories.

10. Includes repainting and painting works.

11. Installation of 3.5mm hardilite board ceiling on light metal frames painted with off white.

12. Installation of 6mm thick bronze glass door on 25mm x 45mm analoc glass frame with 45mm x 100mm tubular analoc frame with lock and key. ( 1 set 0.97m x 2.12m)

13. Installation of 6mm thick bronze glass sliding windows on 25mm x 45mm analoc tubular frames with fixed bronze glass transom.

W – 1 1 set 1.20m x 4.01m Transom 3 pcs. 0.25m x 1.34m W – 2 1 set 1.20m x 1.70m Transom 1 set 0.25m x 1.70m TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

1. Actual site inspection is highly recommended to get actual measurements and totality of work.

2. Secure site inspection certificate from PPD.

3. Contractor to supply labor and materials and should have appropriate tools, equipment, technical know-how, supervision necessary to complete the project.

4. Submit quotation to include:

- Cost per scope of works - Number of days to complete

5. Coordinate with PPD before the start of the project.

6. Have filed Accreditation from MSU-IIT Procurement office.

ABC for Lot 1 ………..PhP404,500.00

Lot 2 – for comfort room of NSTP Office at Gymnasium

Supply of Labor and Materials for the comfort room of NSTP Office at Gymnasium building.

SCOPE OF WORKS:

1. Demolition of walls affected by the installation of door panel.

2. Installation of 4” thick CHB wall on plain cement plaster with elastomeric paint finish.

(Please coordinate with PPD as to color).

3. Installation of counter with cabinet below (see counter detail).

4. Fabrication and installation of panel door and hanging cabinet.

5. Installation of 200mm x 200mm non-slip floor tiles (beige).

6. Installation of 300mm x 300mm ceramics wall tiles (beige) and counter tiles with tile trim (beige).

7. Installation of 6mm thick brown glass on 50mm x 100mm analoc frames awning window.

(0.60m x 0.60m)

8. Installation of plumbing pipes, fixtures and all necessary accessories.

9. Includes painting works (walls and cabinets). Please coordinate with PPD as to color.

10. Includes installation of electrical wirings, fixtures and all accessories needed.

11. Clearing after installation.

( Please see attached sketch plan).

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

B. Secure Checklist of bidding documents from the BAC Secretariat Office after payment of the non-refundable bidder’s fee. Accomplish the duly certified requirements in three (3) copies, and submit the same at the BAC Secretariat Office on or before the deadline set.

D.Bid opening shall be on July 8, 2014, 2:00PM at the Legal Office. Bids will be opened in the presence of the Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend. Late bids shall not be accepted.

E. The MSU-IIT reserves the right to review the qualifications of a selected bidder, subject to technical and production criteria, reject any or all bids, waive any formality or defect therein and accept the offer considered most advantageous to MSU-IIT.

F. Bidders should have completed, within 2 years from the date of submission and receipt of bids, a contract similar to the Project, and equivalent to at least fifty percent (50%) of the ABC (For the procurement of Non-expendable Supplies), Or contract that is similar to this Project, equivalent to at least twenty-five percent (25%) of the ABC (For the procurement of Expendable Supplies).

G. The MSU-IIT reserves the right to accept or reject any Bid, to annul the bidding process, and to reject all Bids at any time prior to contract awards without thereby incurring any liability to the affected Bidder or Bidders.
