II. Course Name: Lie Detection Techniques Laboratory

III. Course Description: This course is focus in enlightening the students with the scientific study of detecting deception through the interpretation of a polygraph chart after proper administration of test using polygraph machine. Different questioning technique will be acknowledged as part of successful polygraph examination applied to different type of subject. Furthermore, the course will abreast t he students of other scientific way of detecting deception.

IV. Course Learning Outcomes:

CLO1: Demonstrate competence and broad understanding of lie detection as used in law enforcement administration, public safety, and criminal justice.

CLO2: Utilize lie detection techniques in the investigation and detection of crime.

CLO3: Apply the Principles of jurisprudence to lie detection admissibility.

CLO4: Collaborate the lie detection techniques effectively and independently in multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams.

CLO5: Engage in lifelong learning and understanding of the lie detection techniques as a field of criminology and criminal justice.

CLO6: Apply professional, social, and ethical standards in the practice of lie detection.

CLO7: Effectively communicate lie detection techniques orally and in writing using both English and Filipino.

Midterm grade: 70% Class standing and 30% midterm examination Final Grade: 70% Class standing and 30% final examination

Semester grade: 50% midterm grade and 50% final grade
