INVITATION TO BID

A. The MSU- Iligan Institute of Technology through its Bids and Awards Committee invites interested suppliers to apply for eligibility and to bid for the hereunder project:

Name of Project : Supply of Labor and Materials in Various Scope of Works

Location : MSU-Iligan Institute of Technology

Approved Budget : PhP870,950.00

Source of Fund : GAA

Delivery Period : Thirty (30) days upon receipt of P.O.

Non-refundable Bidder Fee : PhP900.00

Reference No. : 2014 – 036

LOT 1 – for Gymnasium Building

Supply of labor and materials in the following scope of works in the replacement of ceiling at front corridor , Gymnasium building.

SCOPE OF WORKS:

1. Removing of existing ceiling.

2. Installation of pre-painted (beige) mini-rib spandrel ceiling on light metal frames ceiling joist.

3. Installation of electrical wirings, fixtures and other accessories needed for the electrical works.

(please see attached sketch plan) TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

1. Actual site inspection is highly recommended to get actual measurements and totality of work.

2. Secure site inspection certificate from PPD.

3. Contractor to supply labor and materials and should have appropriate tools, equipment, technical know-how, supervision necessary to complete the project.

4. Submit quotation to include:

- Detailed bill of materials & total cost.

- Detailed labor cost & no. of days to complete 5. Coordinate with PPD before the start of the project.

6. Have filed Accreditation from MSU-IIT Procurement office.

ABC for Lot 1 ………..PhP628,350.00 Lot 2 – for CDO use

Supply of labor and materials in the installation of doors, windows and partitions at Cultural Development Office at Gymnasium Building as follows:

SCOPE OF WORKS:

1. Includes removal of existing windows and doors, retouching & repainting of affected areas.

2. Installation of 6mm thick bronze glass on 50mm x 100mm tubular analoc frames with locks and keys.

Sliding door – 1 set 0.90m x 2.10m Swing door – 1 set 0.97m x 2.10m Fixed transom – 1 set 0.38m x 0.97m

3. Installation of 6mm thick bronze glass windows on 50mm x 100mm tubular analoc frames with locks and keys.

Fixed: 1 set 0.590m x 1.509m 1 set 0.780m x 1.570m Sliding: 1 set 1.660m x 1.570m

4. Installation of 6mm thick bronze glass fixed partition on 50mm x 100mm tubular analoc frames.

1 set - 0.344m x 2.10m 1 set - 2.10m x 3.00m 5. Installation of aircon cage: 1 set

Supply of labor and materials in the following scope of works for the Renovation of cultural Development Office (CDO) at Gym (Phase 1), as follows:

SCOPE OF WORKS:

1. Includes removal of existing ceiling.

2. Includes installation of floor tiles, 600mm x 600mm, green color.

3. Includes installation of hardilite board ceiling with light metal frames on latex paint finish (white).

4. Installation of electrical wirings and lighting fixtures.

(please see attached sketch plan)

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

13. Actual site inspection is highly recommended to get actual measurements and totality of work.

14. Secure site inspection certificate from PPD.

15. Contractor to supply labor and materials and should have appropriate tools, equipment, technical know-how, supervision necessary to complete the project.

16. Submit quotation to include:

- Detailed bill of materials & total cost.

- Detailed labor cost & no. of days to complete 17. Coordinate with PPD before the start of the project.

18. Have filed Accreditation from MSU-IIT Procurement office.

ABC for Lot 3 ………PhP130,000.00 B. Secure Checklist of bidding documents from the BAC Secretariat Office after payment of the

non-refundable bidder’s fee. Accomplish the duly certified requirements in three (3) copies, and submit the same at the BAC Secretariat Office on or before the deadline set.

D. The MSU-IIT reserves the right to review the qualifications of a selected bidder, subject to technical and production criteria, reject any or all bids, waive any formality or defect therein and accept the offer considered most advantageous to MSU-IIT.

E. Bidders should have completed, within 2 years from the date of submission and receipt of bids, a contract similar to the Project, and equivalent to at least fifty percent (50%) of the ABC (For the procurement of Non-expendable Supplies), Or contract that is similar to this Project, equivalent to at least twenty-five percent (25%) of the ABC (For the procurement of Expendable Supplies).

F. The MSU-IIT reserves the right to accept or reject any Bid, to annul the bidding process, and to reject all Bids at any time prior to contract awards without thereby incurring any liability to the affected Bidder or Bidders.
