CALL FOR PROPOSALS 2017
In line with PhilRice’s new strategic plan (2017-2022) geared towards achieving a rice secure Philippines, we enjoin you to submit your proposals aimed at helping us realize our key outcomes for 2017-2022.
We encourage highly innovative and state of the art research and development initiatives to help us respond to the pressing needs of our changing rice landscape.
These are PhilRice areas of interest in relation to committing ourselves to achieving a rice secure Philippines.
The proposals to be submitted should fit into the following identified outcomes of the Institute:
Outcome 1 Increased productivity, cost effectiveness, and profitability of rice farming in a sustainable manner
Outcome 2 Improved rice trade through efficient post production, better product quality, and reliable supply
Outcome 3 Improved utilization and access to high quality, safe, nutritious, and affordable rice and diversified rice-based farming commodities and their products
Outcome 4 A science-based and supportive rice policy environment
Outcome 7 Advanced rice science and technology for future sources of growth
