FULL PAPER GUIDELINES

Submission of the full version of the papers is required for those accepted who intend to be considered for the Best Paper Award no later than May 23, 2023, via [email protected]. Only articles that are original, unpublished, and not being considered for publication in any research journal will be accepted. Author/s will also be requested for their papers to be published in the Journal of Education Society Special Issue. The paper must strictly follow the prescribed format for the Conference as follows:

Title: Font Type: Times New Romans, Font Size: 12

Author: List all authors, first on the list will be the main author. Please indicate the presenter.

Affiliation: Name of the Office/University/LGU and the Address Email Address/Contact Number: [[email protected]/1234567890….]

Abstract: The abstract should be in one paragraph composed of 150 to 250 words that contain: 1) an introduction with a precise statement of the problem or issue to capture the scope of the study, 2 descriptions of the research method and design, 3) major findings, and 4) conclusions reached. Most of the discussions should be focused on the results and the meaning of the results. The abstract should not contain literature citations. Make use of this section to discuss the findings of the study. Provide at most five keywords preferably those that are not in the title. These keywords including the words in the title will be used by search engines as tags. All the information aforementioned should be formatted in one page only.

Keywords: five words (words not present in the title or abstract)

The whole paper is divided into six (5) major sections, the Introduction, Methodology, Results, Conclusions, and References (APA 7th edition style).

I.

Introduction:

The introduction must present the rationale why the study is conducted. Start with a general description of the subject being given emphasis and establish the gap that requires to be addressed in the paper.

The pieces of evidence (review of literature) that show the need to study should form part of the introduction. The ending statement of this section must be connected to the objectives of the study along with the conceptual framework if necessary.

Methodology:

The methodology section may be presented in sub-sections depending on the paper. It shall contain the research design, research locale, sampling procedures, data collection, and data analysis. The approach to how the methodology is presented will depend on the paper submitted.

Tables may be used in presenting samples. The table title is written using Times New Romans font 11.

While the contents of the table are in Times New Roman font 10. Legend shall be made available at the bottom of the table using Times New Roman font 10.

III: Results

The results shall be presented in a manner that facilitates easier understanding. If specific objectives are written, the manner of presentation shall follow the sequence provided. Make sure you include details about your data analysis and interpretation, as well as statistical significance tests and report the statistically insignificant research findings for your academic article's credibility if applicable. Use the past tense when describing your research results.

If you use pictures and illustrations, make sure it is your own picture. If not, permission/approval to use copyrighted material must have been sought. A proper citation must always be observed. Avoid using pixelated pictures.

IV.

Conclusion

Conclusions should always begin with a topic sentence. Restating the thesis statement if you have one as the first sentence of your conclusion is an effective way to remind the reader of the main argument.

Do not repeat the data presented in the results section. In this section, the mean message of the paper is generalized. This section should preferably not be more than 300 words. What is the take-home message of the paper? That’s should be made clear in this section.

V.

References

In the references, you have only to place references that have been cited. It shall be arranged alphabetically. The citation shall use APA format (7th edition style).
