ANNOUNCEMENT and CALL for PAPERS
The Mathematical Society of the Philippines invites you to participate in its 2020 MSP Annual Convention to be held on 22-24 May 2020 (Friday - Sunday) at the Leyte Normal University, Tacloban City. The 2020 Convention marks the 47th year of MSP as the country’s largest professional organization dedicated to the promotion of mathematics and mathematics education.
Researchers and educators in all areas of pure and applied mathematics, mathematics education, computing, statistics and other related areas are invited to contribute short papers for oral or poster presentation during the convention.
The convention will feature plenary talks, contributed talks and poster presentations as well as a session of invited talks by noted mathematics educators.
Oral / Poster Presentations: Paper presentations will be organized in at least five parallel oral sessions (algebra, analysis, graph theory and combinatorics, computing, statistics, applied mathematics and mathematics education) and 2 poster sessions.
Those who wish to contribute oral or poster presentations are requested to register and send the title and abstract via online or email. Please indicate if your submission is for oral or poster presentation. Abstracts (100-250 words) should contain sufficient information about the paper to be properly evaluated by the scientific committee. Electronic submission (both LaTeX/MSWord and pdf file) is preferred. The deadline for all abstracts is 01 March 2020. Notices of acceptance will be sent out by 31 March 2020.

The registration fee excludes the annual membership fee of Php 300. Everyone is encouraged to register by 30 April since reservations for food and printing of the convention materials have to be done in advance.
There is no assurance that those who register after this date will enjoy all the privileges of the participants who register early. MSP is a non-profit, non-stock organization and is tax-exempted. The fees above are not subject to tax.
