Through this training, the skills and knowledge of the participants in research are enhanced through the use of online resources for data gathering, and computer-aided quantitative and qualitative tools for data analysis.
This training program was institutionalized and made part of the regular training offerings of the Center under the leadership and administration of Prof. Ebinezer Florano, Ph.D. (Director of the Center, 2013- present).

CPED is a premier policy think-tank and a research and consulting office at the National College of Public Administration and Governance
(NCPAG). It has been extensively involved in capacity development initiatives and institution-building programs in the Philippines and other developing nations. It provides public institutions, non-government organizations, public corporations, and other local institutions and international organizations with the necessary professional expertise to deal with policy issues, executive and administrative development, and the challenges of governance. CPED has designed and implemented training courses and developed instructional materials for national and local governments, non-government organizations, and international government institutions.
Currently, the Center is headed by Prof. Ebinezer R. Florano as Director and has five technical staff and three administrative staff.
