movement and promotion of Far Eastern University, Inc. (FEU) officers, effective 01 June 2022.
a. Secondment of Dr. Myrna P. Quinto to FEU Cavite as Executive Director.
Dr. Myrna P. Quinto currently serves as Vice President – Academic Development of FEU Manila. Previously, she was the Dean of the Institute of Arts and Sciences and concurrent Dean of the Institute of Education. Prior to joining FEU, she was a College Instructor at the National University and a faculty member at St. John’s Academy. She was formerly the educational consultant of the RVM Horizon International.
Dr. Quinto holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Science Education major in Biology from De La Salle University, Master of Arts in Education major in Biology from the University of the Philippines, and a Bachelor of Science degree major in Biology from the College of Holy Spirit.
b. Appointment of Dr. Evangeline P. Bautista as Vice President for Academic Development.
Dr. Evangeline P. Bautista brings in 30 years of teaching experience, with specialization on Mathematics for secondary and tertiary level. Served as Dean of School of Science and Engineering at the Ateneo de Manila University for three terms (2012-2021), during which the responsibilities include running and leading the School. Professional experience also includes being a trainer and assessor of the ASEAN University Network – Quality Assurance since 2014.
Dr. Bautista holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics and Master of Science in Mathematics, both degree from the Ateneo de Manila University, and Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of the Philippines.
c. Promotion of Dr. Generoso B. Pamittan, Jr. as Vice President for Academic Services.
Dr. Generoso B. Pamittan, Jr. currently serves as Assistant Vice President for Academic Services. Previously, he held several administrative positions in the University including Director for University Research Center, Director for International Relations Office, , Associate Dean of the Institute of Arts and Sciences, and Department Chair Communications Program for the Institute of Arts and Sciences.
Dr. Pamittan holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Philippine Studies major in Language, Culture, and Media from De La Salle University as CHED Scholar, Master of Arts in Communication major in Broadcast Communications from the University of the Philippines, and Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from Far Eastern University.
d. Promotion of Mr. Jefferson S. Aquino as Vice President for Human Resource Development.
Mr. Jefferson S. Aquino currently serves as Assistant Vice President for Human Resource Development. He also previously held the positions of Manager for Organization and Competency Development, and Manager for Human Resource Services. Prior to joining FEU, he was the Assistant Director of the Human Resources Department of the University of Sto. Tomas and an Assistant Professor of the same university. In addition, he has taught at the Dominican College and worked as EDP Supervisor at the Shoemart, Inc.
Mr. Aquino holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Sto. Tomas, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Colegio de San Juan de Letran – Calamba.
