Course Description: The course covers the introduction to the basic concepts and principles of the Philippine Labor Code as an indispensable tool in human resource management. Knowing the various labor and social legislation is as indispensable as knowing the basic laws of the land. The scope will also cover the different government instrumentalities involved in

implementing labor and social legislations like the Department of Labor, National Labor Relations Commission, the Social Security System, etc The student is given the opportunity to learn how the various labor laws affect the manner business operates, the interplay of various sectors, the limitations and scope of freedom in the workplace will influence the culture of the organization.
