In the business world, English for Specific Purposes (ESP) differs from general English usage (Donesch, 2012; Zhu, 2008). A corpus-based analysis in the human resources (HR) department may be one of the most interesting areas for research. Therefore, this research study proposed that the required vocabulary used in the HR department is directly related to the vocabulary used in the recruitment and selection process.

The findings of this research were designed to help those HR professionals who specifically lack relevant HR vocabularies, and the HR professionals who created online job postings that are used in the human resources functions. In addition, this research could provide English language learners with some examples of HR vocabulary used in human resources. This study is limited to the 150 online job postings for Human Resources positions from JobThai, JobTH, and Phuketall in Q4 2021 (October – December 2021) selected with ease to provide a reasonable sample list of HR vocabulary used to make in the workshop.

The selected online job advertisements were HR, where knowledge of terminology in an international context was expected. Human resource management (HRM) refers to the management concept that controls the productivity of a company's employees.

Introduction

Recruitment is of great importance in empowering the best performance results of the employees to contribute to the organization. The recruitment process should start with arranging the requested number of vacancies in the organization. In addition, the recruitment process must take into account the specific expertise of the desired positions.

This study used Antconc 3.5.8 for synthetic data to detect lists of words in selected online job advertisements. The results of the Job Posting Corpus for Text Classification (JCTC) claimed that this study categorizes 102,581 potential online job postings into 465. 150 online human resources job postings were collected from JobThai, JobTH, and Phuketall websites in the fourth quarter of 2021 (October - December 2021).

The analysis followed a list of function words to count single-word units (SWUs) and multi-word units (MWUs) appearing in online job advertisements. Fourth, the results of this study were reviewed by three human resource experts. This chapter presents the results of HR vocabulary used in online job advertisements from three websites consisting of JobThai, JobTH and Phuketall.

The first part presents the HR vocabulary used in online job vacancies found in the survey. According to the results in the table above, the most commonly used 50 multi-word units (MWUs) were found to be reflected in the 9 themes of 1) hiring, 2) employee development, 3) employee compensation, 4) management roles, techniques and strategies, 5) employee involvement and participation, 6) work organization and working time, 7) international HRM, 8) health, safety and welfare, and 9) national and international regulation of employment, respectively. According to the findings, the 17 multi-word units (MWUs) in online job postings existed only at the entry level.

After clustering, the most frequently used multi-word units (MWUs) were in the theme of employee resources. According to the findings, the 16 multi-word units (MWUs) in online job advertisements only existed in the middle level. This chapter presents the conclusion of this study and the discussion of the results found in the corpus of online job advertisements, based on a list of multi-word units (MWUs) used in human resource management by Heery and Noon (2008). before.

Finally, the most common senior-level multi-word units (MWUs) were organizational strategies, occurring 25 times or 2.49%, in the theme of work organization and working time. Analysis of the most common multi-word units (MWUs) used in online job postings from JobThai, JobTH and Phuket yielded interesting information. In addition, the findings of this study would provide a source of multi-word units (MWUs) and create an alternative learning opportunity for English for Specific Purposes (ESP) students studying in the HR field.

Literature Review

Methodology

After grouping, the potential multi-word units (MWUs) used in online HR job postings were 2,364 MWUs. To compare the difference in multi-word English HR units (MWUs) used between entry, intermediate and senior levels in online job advertisements, the. Table 3, based on Antconc, presented 1,089 multi-word units (MWUs) from the corpus of 4,584 most common running multi-word units (MWUs), the top 50 most common multi-word units (MWUs) from the three websites on the entry level.

Based on Antconc, Table 5 presented multiword units (MWUs) of 314, from a corpus of 863 most frequently appearing multiword units (MWUs), the top 50 most frequent multiword units (MWUs) from the three websites at the senior level.

According to the findings, the 36 multi-word units (MWUs) used at senior level in the HR advertisements were found to be the most used multi-word units (MWUs) on the theme of Management roles, techniques and strategies. After clustering to the HR vocabulary, 2,364 multi-word units (MWUs) were selected between October and December 2021 from JobThai, JobTH and Phuketall. The 50 most frequently used multi-word units (MWUs) were found to be clearly reflected. in the 9 of the 14 main themes of human resource management identified by Heery and Noon (2008), which are as follows: 1) employee resources, 2) employee development, 3) employee reward, 4) management roles, techniques and strategies, 5) employee involvement and participation, 6) work organization and working time, 7) international HRM, 8) health, safety and welfare, and 9) national and international regulation of employment, respectively.

Furthermore, the results showed that the most used entry-level HR multi-word units (MWUs) appeared in the themes 1) employee resources, . 2) employee development, 3) employee reward, 4) management roles, techniques and strategies, 5) national and international regulation of employment, 6) international HRM, 7) work organization and working hours, 8) employee involvement and participation, respectively. . In addition, among the mid-level HR multi-word units in the HR advertisement, the most frequently used multi-word units (MWUs) appeared in the themes of 1) employee resources, 2) employee development, 3) employee rewards, 4) international HRM, 5) management roles, techniques and strategies, 6) work organization and working hours, 7) health, safety and welfare, 8) respectively national and international regulation of employment, 9) employee involvement and participation. Finally, at the senior level, the most frequent multi-word units (MWUs) appeared in HR advertisements in the themes 1) management roles, techniques and strategies, 2) employee development, 3) employee rewards, 4) employee involvement and participation, 5) work organization and working hours, 6 ) employee resources, 7) concepts and theories used to study/analyze HRM, 8) employee representation, 9) national and international regulation of employment, 10) conflict and control in employment or .

The most common multi-word units (MWUs) that appeared only at the initial level was Candidate, occurring 42 times or accounting for 0.59%, in the employee resource topic. Second, the most common multi-word units (MWUs) at the middle level were candidate database, occurring 31 times or accounting for 0.35%, in the employee resource topic. Furthermore, the results showed that the 17 HR multi-word units (MWUs) that appeared only at the initial level were within the themes of 1) employee resources, 2) employee compensation, employee development, 3), national regulation and international employment 4) employee development and 5) management roles, techniques and strategies, respectively.

In addition, the 16 most frequently used HR multi-word units (MWUs) that appeared only at the intermediate level were in topics 1) employees. resources, 2) employee development, 3) management roles, techniques and strategies, 4) health, safety and well-being, 5) national and international employment regulation, 6) work organization and working hours, 7) rewarding employees and 8) international HRM or Finally, the 36 most frequently used HR multi-word units (MWUs) that appeared only at the higher level were found to be in the topics of 1) management roles, techniques and strategies, 2) employee development, 3) work organization and working hours, 4) involvement and participation of employees and 5) concepts and theories used for studying/analyzing HRM, 6) rewarding employees, 7) financing employees, 8) representing employees or Analyzes of the different multi-word units (MWUs) used among entry-level, mid-level and senior-level online job advertisements from JobThai, JobTH and Phuketall provided interesting information.

This study proved that a list of multi-word units (MWUs) from the human resources corpus in online job postings would help business people improve their English language to get business information faster.
