Examining the effectiveness of learning activities and developing English in listening through television programs according to the 70/70 effective criteria. To examine the effectiveness index of learning development in English listening activities using television programs focusing on Mathayomsuksa students 3. To compare the students' knowledge in listening skills before and after the input learning activities in the classroom.
The sample of this research consisted of 28 Mathayomsuksa 3 students studying in the first semester of the 2016 academic year at Fadadsoongyangwittayakarn School, The Secondary Education Service Area Office 24, Kamalasai District, Kalasin Province. The tools used in the study include a curriculum that used 8 television programs for English listening comprehension and 30 questions to test listening skills that had difficulty (p). The measurement of students' opinions about learning through television programs ranged discriminatively from, and the reliability was 0.86.
The performance of developing listening activities via TV programs by Mathayomsuksa 3 students was which met the criteria of 70/70. The effectiveness index of learning activities to improve students' listening skills by using TV programs was 0.6042, which meant that students had more progressive learning in listening, which accounted for 60.42 percent. Students have an English listening test score higher than before using TV programs which is statistically significant at the .05 level.
