INTRODUCTION

LITERATURE REVIEW

In line with previous research Zulkarnain and SitiHawa (2019), we propose a similar relationship between employee involvement and employee motivation in 5S implementation. Hypothesis 1: employee involvement has a significant effect on employee motivation in 5S implementation in a tire company located in the eastern part of Thailand. In the implementation of 5S in an organization, every employee, from lower to top management, requires training in 5S philosophies and techniques.

Zulkarnain and SitiHawa (2019), showed that training had a significant relationship with employee motivation in the implementation of the 5S system. Hypothesis 2: training has a significant effect on employee motivation in implementing 5S in a tire company located in the eastern region of Thailand. Consistent with previous research Zulkarnain and SitiHawa (2019), we propose a similar relationship between top management support and employee motivation in implementing 5S in a tire manufacturing company.

Organizational culture for 5S in a tire manufacturing company refers to the correct way of implementing the 5S system or understanding the problems of implementing 5S in the organization. A previous finding showed that organizational culture is significantly related to employee motivation when implementing the 5S system (Zulkarnain & SitiHawa, 2019).

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

This research examines only one dependent variable arising from motivation theory that studies employee motivation in the implementation of 5S; This study will look at the dependent variable (DPT): the motivation of employees in the 5S implementation, which is also the ultimate goal of the study. The population of the study consists of Thai employees of a famous tire company in the eastern region of Thailand. After the questionnaire has been answered by employees, the first line manager will assist in the collection of the questionnaire and feedback to the researcher and ensure that the entire questionnaire can be collected at 100.00%.

The amount of the sample is allocated by the number of employees in each department. I send the online address of the questionnaire to the head of the department and let them help me send to their employee randomly. To ensure that the employee answers the questionnaire accurately, the manager cannot disturb the real opinion of the employees.

The research request consultant reviewed the questionnaire based on the review of relevant documents and related studies and took it to test its validity and check the appropriate wording and language to revise it before asking questions in the real data set. When the researcher has adapted the questionnaire according to the person already identified, the researcher will complete a series of questionnaires to test the reliability (reliability test) by distributing online questionnaires to the employees working in a tire manufacturing company in the eastern region from Thailand. . The Coefficient Cronbach's Alpha must be equal to or greater than 0.7 to ensure the reliability of the research instruments (Pallant, 2013, p. 104).

After the validity and reliability of the questionnaires were fully controlled and thoroughly checked, the researcher distributed the questionnaires to the people working in the tire manufacturing company through an online survey. Descriptive statistics, including frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation to describe the general nature of the personal data. That is, it concerns two-dimensional sample points with one independent variable and one dependent variable (usually x and y coordinates in a Cartesian coordinate system) and finds a linear function (a non-vertical straight line) that predicts as accurately as possible the values of the dependent variable as a function of the independent variable .

A higher coefficient of the independent variable means that the influence on the dependent variable is greater (Pallant, 2010). If the absolute t-value is higher than 1.645 at 95.00% confidence interval (95.00%CI), it means that the independent variable has a statistically significant influence on the dependent variable (Pallant, 2010). Whereas, if the p-value is lower than 0.050 at 95.00% confidence interval (95.00% CI), which indicates that the independent variable has a statistically significant influence on dependent variable (Studenmund, 2006).

SUMMARY AND DISCUSSION

Set 1 point equal to = Strongly Disagree Set 2 points equal to = Disagree Set 3 points equal to = Neutral Set 4 points equal to = Agree Set 5 points equal to = Strongly Agree .

The result of this content validity test IOC of the questionnaire is based on the IOC value. If the IOC value is higher than 0.5, it means that the questionnaire passes the validity test; According to Cronbach's Alpha test results, values of all variables are greater than .70, indicating that employee engagement is .909, education is .944, top management support is .947, organizational culture is .799, and motivation is .881 .
