To integrate counseling and discipline, each class in the junior form is assigned two class teachers. This will give our students more chances to talk to the class teachers and the class teacher will have more chance to contact the students and take care of them. Under the collaborative work of the Discipline Unit and the Guidance Team, students are encouraged to devise a plan to correct their misconduct.
The ultimate goal is to activate our parents' participation a) Formation of the Parent-Teacher Association. Fruitful opinions are reflected to the school management for the optimization of the school policies. In the case of field trips, along with the teachers, some parents would volunteer to take care of their children.
To spread the culture of praise, parents will be the master of ceremonies in the assembly to show their appreciation to the teachers. To promote the culture of appreciation, our principal will spend time at the staff meeting to recognize the contributions of teachers. Their personal photos, along with their manuscripts, will be intentionally displayed in the corridor and the covered playground with large and beautiful photo frames.
This practice will give our colleagues an impetus to build their sense of ownership for CAC and students will be inspired by teacher sharing. Using the “Webcams” system, periods of collaborative lesson planning are set up to help teachers get together and be well prepared for the subject. With the support of the Education Bureau and Dr. Peter Wong, two workshops were held on the theoretical background of IP and experiences of IP schools in Hong Kong.
By joining the Inviting School Project, our staff continues to participate and learn from IAIE's American trainers. This helps our school to further internalize the theory of practice of EI initiatives. To further develop collaborative skills and attitude, teachers were sent to participate in the Learning Circles workshop organized by trainers from Singapore.
Places
To facilitate students' learning in English, a self-access English learning center was established in 2007. To encourage students to use "L.E.T." At the center, all English club committee members become English student ambassadors to help run the center. The center is open at lunchtime and after school to provide more opportunities for students to make full use of the facilities.
An “Orchid Corner” has been built where students can develop their interest in growing different types of orchids. Every Thursday after school, the students attend classes to learn a special technique for caring for the flowers. Each plant would be labeled with the name of the students taking charge of the plants.
Plants are displayed in a beautiful garden and some of the plants will also be brought into the classroom to add liveliness to the class. f) Green policy. To increase students' sense of caring for the environment, many plants and flowers are located in the playground and the corridors. Comfortable and peaceful environment creates a harmonious school life especially with the beautiful plants that grew everywhere on the campus. g) Beautification Campus Project.
To enhance a comfortable learning environment, regular renovation and renovation of the campus is carried out. The "reading area" is furnished, and furniture has been brought in, where there is an atmosphere of discussion, on the covered playground. Policies
This paves a stronger path for students to meet the challenge of liberal studies in the new upper secondary curriculum. As a result, students only have to complete 5 lessons per cycle and can adjust to being taught by the same teacher. Given Hong Kong's close relationship with our motherland, our students should also be proficient in Chinese.
In this connection, our school will continue its efforts to cultivate our students to be biliterate and trilingual. Our ultimate goal is to ensure that our students are proficient in both Chinese and English. Split class arrangement in English was implemented to ensure that students have more chances to express their ideas in the smaller class.
This is seen as a starting point for our students to establish their confidence and sense of achievement. After the first year of practice, students can continue to take the lessons if they are interested in the activities. More chances are given for students to have outward travel and to broaden the horizon of the students.
This is a mutual exchange program for our students to have a chance to visit the school in Hunan. Our students got the chance to be the host in taking care of our guests. In exploring the economic and environmental development of the Pearl River Delta, senior form students joined the mainland learning trip.
This not only deepened our students' knowledge of the mainland's economic and environmental development, but also helped our students gain a good experience of how Hong Kong's environment is connected to the mainland. For the further development of students. in order to recognize the identity of the Chinese, outstanding students were selected for a mutual trip to Beijing. Not only does it help our students make better use of their summer vacation, but it also helps them to develop a positive self-image through continuous improvement through various activities.

- Room for improvement
In the same year, our school was awarded by the Equal Opportunity Commission” to paint a wall on our campus to promote the feeling of equal opportunity. In April 2009, our students also had the opportunity to join the same association in "Aventura". They spent more than 5 hours in the afternoon selling tickets in hopes of raising the money for it.
To raise money for the Community Chest, teachers are invited to wear school uniforms on "Casual wearing day". During Gospel Week, students and teachers join together to sing to spread the love of Jesus. From form one, students are involved in the program for three years through the "life education".
Leadership among senior students is built, especially in the sense of being intentional in helping others grow. .. intelligence courses for class 3 students are held year by year. During the 5-day camp, the students receive discipline training and team building skills in the Police School and the Fire Service Training School. Much joy and tears from the students and parents can be seen at the graduation ceremonies.
In order to support the policy of 'One pupil, one talent', formal art education will be organized in the new senior secondary education curriculum (NNS). Along with the school's intent to promote IP culture on campus, students are invited to take the lead in spreading their encouragement from the beliefs of IP. In camp, students must have a strong sense of caring for their teammates.
Through the orienteering organized by "Breakthrough Ltd." teaches students to cooperate in a sense of respect and trust and to complete their tasks in an optimistic attitude. With the development in leadership, the IE ambassadors become well equipped to support the development of IE on campus, as they have already internalized the IE values within themselves. The IE Ambassadors get the chance to conduct programs and introduce the IE spirit on campus.
Some of the topics are inspiring to reflect how well our school is in the IE journey. The value of IE as respect, trust and care can be found especially in the interaction between students and teachers. i) School programs involve experience outside of school.
