By starting the process of implementing programs, projects and initiatives according to the authorities responsible for them and within a specific timetable, and this requires the formation of subcommittees of faculty members and technical and administrative staff.
Preparing the academic department for the operational plan in line with the strategic plan of the college and identifying a coordinator for strategic planning in each department to follow up on its implementation and coordinate with the Strategic Planning and Risk Management Unit in the college.
Providing the necessary computer programs to follow up the implementation of the strategic plan with the support of the Project Management Office at the university.
Develop a risk management study to ensure the successful implementation of the strategic plan and avoid potential obstacles and challenges to achieving its objectives.
Preparing periodic reports on the progress of implementation, including the most important obstacles, suggestions and recommendations, and presenting them in the competent councils in the college and advisory committees.

5-3 Risk Management for the Strategic Plan in the College of Science
The Strategic Planning and Risk Management Unit at the College handles risk management activities. It will start updating the (previous) risk management plan after the adoption of the second strategic plan. The college adopts the methodology of strategic vigilance, which is concerned with predicting the expected risks that hinder the college's achievement of its strategic objectives through the analysis of documents and reports of key performance indicators for the components of the strategic plan and the work of the necessary questionnaires for that and analysis. And present detailed periodic reports to the competent councils in the college to find effective mechanisms to address the risk. This enhances confidence in the performance of the college and its readiness to face potential risks and challenges.

The College of Science adopted strategic planning as an approach for its work and expanded it, and this experience began to deepen and become clear in the second strategic plan crystallizing a comprehensive vision that extends to three years through which we aspire to achieve ambitious goals worthy of the college's heritage, originality, and affiliation to Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University.
The second strategic plan of the College of Science was built on a clear methodology, to integrate with the university’s plan and
strategic goals. Within the sustainable national development frameworks, in a flexible building that accommodated the
challenges and benefited from the strengths of the university and the programs and initiatives. It covers and serves academic,
research, and community service activities. The college also relied on its cumulative experiences to benefit from its first
experience in strategic planning and partnered with stakeholders to assess the current situation and launch initiatives that raise
the college's status and enhance its academic reputation. In order to achieve its ambitions and make it in a competitive position
with the colleges of Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University and with the corresponding colleges in other universities.
